Yaw Bearing OK folks here is the deal I use this stuff and I know what it will and will not do. Plating this thing with "zinc" will not cause this not to rust. The rollers on this bearing are under constant friction and any applied coating will wear away in short order . These bearings must be packed in grease and when they are they do help DIY wind turbines track better in the wind. However it is an inexpensive part and we find no reason to grand stand and make it seem like it is something it is not for the sake of charging a high $ This listing is for one Yaw Bearing to be used on 1 1/2 inch diameter tower pipes to allow the wind turbine head to turn easily.
