This meteorological tower was installed in June 2012 and is currently located in Eastville. Virginia. The tower is in very good condition as is being made available for free but must be decommissioned by an experienced and insured crew. 100 Volts D C Permanent Magnet 3 pha se Motor This motor has a"Moog" stator and rotor. It is rated at 100 volts dc@3600 rpm. Bench testing resulted in 13 volts dc@ 720 rpm. The casing is made of aluminum and so is the hub and nose cone. Testing was accomplished on a bridge rectifier 2 wire out. weight.12 lbs 2 ounces body length without hub.5 7/8 inches. With hub.7 7/8 inches with hub and nose cone.9 3/4 inches front shaft length. 2 1/2 inches rear shaft length. 3/4 inch shaft diameter. 1/2 inch outer casing diameter. 4 inches shaft threading is right hand and appears to be 24 tpi red wire = phase A. Listing is for one New 24 Volt DC Permanent Magnet Motor removed from E Bike add on kit. These motors were purpose built for E bikes and would use a friction pulley that would directly contact the the tire of a bicycle. Each motor purchased will come with this pulley installed. The pulley is easily removed with an allen set screw. The kits were part of a buyout and would have had 2 sealed lead acid batteries along with the motor in a case that would sit on a rack behind your bike seat, the motor friction pulley would have contacted the rear tire. The motors were removed because the batteries were left too long on the shelf in a discharged state which rendered them useless and they were removed and recycled. I have attached a video to show what the motors can do to the best of my ability since ... morethere was no distinguishable markings or model numbers on them. WINDMILL FAN& PARTS Elgin Wind Power& Pump Co. I think this fan& metal parts are for an Elgin Wind Power& Pump Co. windmill. But I am not sure. Each of the fan sections are built with 12 blades and they measure 48" long. 5" wide a the top and about 1 1/2" wide at the base. The sections are 51" wide at the top and are 16" wide at the base. In the picture you can see some of the fan sections have damage and are not all there. They were stored in the barn hay loft west of Belle Fourche, SD and are very dry. The metal parts are not all there as you can see. The total length of the metal parts is about 100" long. All the above items are F.O.B. Belle Fourche. SD, which is 56 mi. north of Rapid City, SD. This is a home made wood gassifier that I designed and built myself. The auction is for both the gassifier and the honda generator. Gassifier is designed to run on wood pellets or any other small bio-mass you can fit in it. it works great(I got video if ya message me) It is built to keep you powered up during an extended grid down situation like an ice storm or hurricane. It wont power too much. But will likely keep your pellet stove or oil burner going along with your fridge and a light or two. Creating wood gas is simple. But requires a bit of education and practice. This is not a plug and play machine. It requires a working knowledge of how syn gas is made and running it requires supervision. all the info you need is on the web and very easily found. About the gassifier: after studying ... morethem intensely and tinkering with a few of them. I built my own. This is a fully functioning prototype. It is almost completely built out of salvaged or recycled parts. It is liquid cooled to help drop out the tars and moisture(most gassifiers are air cooled) The blue barrel is filled with wood chips and fiberglass insulation as a filter. When all the wood chips, water and fuel pellets are emptied out, this is pretty light weight. this gasifier by itself could be used to run almost any smaller gasoline engine. other genny, small tractor, log splitter, wood chipper, etc. About the generator: I believe it is from about 1980. I got it because the carb was shot and new ones are no longer available. I have the fuel tank. New petcock, and air filters for it, but none are necessary for wood gas. could be made to be duel fuel though. originally rated for 3500 watts. makes less than that on wood gas. probably less than 80% of original power. thats just the nature of wood gas. got service manual. this unit has points and no computer on board so the"preppers" will love it cuz it will survive an EMP without any protection. electric start and pull start. This is admittedly a large undertaking, and would be of doubtful wisdom, but for the sparseness of the literature of the subject.
