This is a Topcon Carbon Fiber pole most likely for use in the field of surveying. Probably a prism/ rover/ gps antenna pole. Not sure exactly which it is since there is no part number on the unit. Pole is in good condition with scuffs. Scratches and wear on it. There are no cracks anywhere on the carbon fiber material. It's super light and strong. The top part(post end) might unscrew off, I was able to loosen it a little but didn't put too much force into it as to not damage it. This is a fixed-length pole, it does not telescope or extend in any way. The pole is just under 40" from end-to-end and has a diameter of 1.25" ~33mm) It's threaded at one end and has a post-type mount at the other end. This is a CST Berger Surveying Rod/Pole for use in surveying to hold prisms and other surveying equipment. Rod is in used shape with scratches. Scuffs and dirt from normal field usage. It comes with a prism& prism bracket as well. Rod stands at 56" and telescopes/extends to 93" in length. The locking mechanism operates properly and holds the rod in it's set position. There's also a bubble-level on the rod that appears to be fine as well. There's a ruler on the extension section to show height. The prism does not appear to be branded. But my guess is that it is most likely a CST prism. It can be moved to either side with a 0mm/30mm offset. This is a used Orange CST Berger Prism. For use in the field of surveying. Prism is in fair shape with scuffs. Scratches and paint specs on it. All of the glass appears fine, although it is spotty/dirty but it will work fine in the field. The threads on the unit are fine and it can be inserted/removed from brackets with ease. There's a crack on the plastic near the base of the screw. But it does not appear to affect the unit at all. Which was mounted onto a replacement fiberglass tripod(non-K&E) The head was designed specifically for Paragon transits equipped with an optical plummet.
