THS 1 minute transit. Model 7401. This instrument is absolutely pristine! I don't know if it was ever used in the field, if it was, there is no visible evidence on the instrument. I really don't know if THS is a brand name, I can't find anything about that name. Searches show me that this is very similar, if not the same as instruments such as Lietz Sokkisha Model 115 Model 115A Model 116. I also find it very similar to Sokkia 7327-60 and 7328-60. I saw another ad that referred to a very similar instrument as a Sokkia 115 Mountain Transit. The only difference I see in those instruments compared to this one is that all of those are black. This one is a very beautiful hammer gray finish. Very pretty. All locks, knobs, focus, leveling screws operate smoothly. Very nice optics. All ... morebubbles are very good condition. It is hard to find a noticeable fault with this instrument! Made in Japan and this appears to be a very nice quality instrument. The specs are listed on a sheet on the inside door of the case as shown in one of the pictures. The scope is 7” long and the instrument is 10” tall. The objective lens has a removable vinyl lens cover. The instrument itself screws to a aluminum base plate that holds the instrument solidly within the box. The instrument screws to a 3 1/2" x 8 TPI tripod, not included. The instrument also has a small chain hook for attachment of a plumb bob for centering purposes. Although there is a place in the instrument case for a plumb bob, there is no plumb bob included. It comes in wooden instrument box. The leather handle on the wooden box still has original plastic wrap on it! On the outside of the box is a small vinyl case with two keys for the lock on the box. On the top of the box is a“Scientific Instruments of Wisconsin, Inc. label and a stickon label with the instrument serial number, 63322. Made in Switzerland. Serial Number 189893. Purchased by my collector husband in 2004. It appears to be complete. It has a carrying handle on the unit itself. A metal, protective canister and an orange heavy plastic carrying case with scuff marks. It has obviously been used, apparently in New York judging from stickers. There are 3 bulbs and a cable included. Attached at the bottom. Underneath the unit are additional(what appear to be) eye pieces and a plunger to activate. Also to be included is a CD of the Manual for a T2 and T16 apparently downloaded from the wild-heerbrugg web-site. This is a vintage/antique Keuffel& Esser Co. Transit/level and Tripod. The transit is in a wooden case.The case is missing part of the top but the hinges are still there. The tripod legs are wooden. The legs are painted orange and white but the paint is fading. The serial or ID number on the case is 194597. It was made in the USA. The transit has the same number on it. The transit/level is 19" long and the tube is 1 3/4" in Diameter. which quite a bit bigger than most of the transit/levels that I have seen. It has a cover for the front lens and a sun shade for it. It has some chipping in the paint but it is in otherwise good condition. All the adjusting and locking knobs work on it. Being much bigger like it is it seems like it would be more accurate when setting it up. It is ... moresolid brass under the paint. The tripod is 40 inches tall when folded up. There are some washers and a sheet metal wrench shown in the picture that will not go with this transit as they don't fit anything on it. Nice 22 power David White transit. I've had this ages but only used 3 times for my own projects as I am not a contractor. I am sure it is very accurate and it has a very sensitive bulls eye level vial. Most guys are using the laser now but maybe someone can use this.

This Lietz transit level is as close to new as it is possible to get. The only evidence that I can see that it has been used at all is the mark on the screw in the last photo showing that it had been turned by a screw driver. Otherwise it is in new conditon. For Sale is a pre-world war II surveyers transit. Which is in Excellent shape and is 100% operable. This unit was found in an old abandon shack. On the prarie in New Mexico, therefore I know nothing of the history of it or where or when it was used. It is constructed of a material which appears to be copper. As may be seen in the pictures. This transit has been in my possession for the past 20 plus years and has not been used or removed from its container in that time. So undoubtedly it may be dusty, but nothing that can't be removed with a little compressed air.

Although it is being sold as a used item it is in great shape and shows very little wear including the hard plastic case. This is a 1' optical vernier theodilite made in 1957. It is equiped with a strident level. And comes with the domed can for transporting. It is in working condition except for a blotch in the reading scope. Caused by a scratched reading lens. The telescope is 30 power and very sharp although the image is inverted. Up for sale are two Transit Levelers made by David White. One is a 8090 and the other is a 8080. I don't know anything about these levelers or levelers at all but found them in my grandfathers storage barn. I am not sure of their condition as they might just need calibration or more.
