You are purchasing used but fully operational items. This is a Wild Heerbrugg Surveyors Scope Model NA 0. The scope itself is in almost mint condition. I think there is 1 small spec on one side of it. Other than that this thing is ready for the jobsite.There is a small piece broken out of the rear corner of the carrying case. If the break in the case is an issue.I think that you can purchase a used one for cheap. I personally love Gorilla duct tape, they make it in all colors nowadays. I don't know much about land survey equipment. But this appears to be in very good condition with very limited use. All bubbles work fine. Tripod fully extends. I do not know how to verify the laser on the level, and didn't want to mess with it. But trust that if you are looking at this, then you know what it is and what questions to ask. This is a vintage hardwood surveying rod with brass end connections and cloth cover. It comes with a sectioned canvas cloth storage case. The rod is 16+ feet tall when assembled. There are a few spots of wear on the cloth covering as shown in the photos. The canvas bag is soiled. We didn't attempt to clean it. Weighs about 12 1/2 lbs. Each section is about 55" tall.

I have up for auction a large tripod that I'm guessing is for a surveyor. the legs do extend and they have the rubber tips on the end. The wood is not super heavy. So I don't know what kind it is. It looks as if everything is in good shape. It measures 30 inches tall before pulling the legs out. The bands that are around the legs look like leather but are a thin sheet metal. There's a few nicks and scratches on the tripod(maybe from storage) but I don't think it has been used much if at all. If you have any questions, just ask. thanks for looking!

Very cool measuring stick model# 6278-A. It is 14' and folds in half. Basically like carrying two 2x4's around. Once stood up there is a hook that locks the two pieces together. Great decorator piece but I'm sure it could still be used for surveying if you chose to. Hard to get a pic that shows just how bold the colors are against the white background. Here are 3 measuring rods or surveying sticks that are quite old. Tallest is the Lenker which is wood with a metal number strip. Manufactured in Penn. Stands about 70" The Dietzgen rods have one heavy brass plate with enamel on one side. I know nothing about these. Look like they can open up for further height. Good condition with some age wear.
