Check the pics for the cosmetic condition. There are no owner marks, no paint problems, no signs of much use at all. There is one small case rub, but it is hardly noticable. The unit is extremely clean. Optics are clear. All controls and adjustment mechanisms are smooth acting and clean. The display is bright. All control buttons function. A dimming. Auxilliary light source is included. It is in good working order and has new batteries installed. The original tool kit, plumb bob, lens hood and auxiliary external level are also included. Gorgeous Wild Heerbrugg 21B wood& brass tripod from WWII era. Tripod is roughly 39" tall at it's shortest. Can be over 5' tall fully extended depending on how you set the legs. Extremely clean and well cared for, all metal parts are/were originally painted. Apparatus base at head of tripod is brass, wood legs look to be maple(we think? Impressive bottom"talons. Original leather strap with buckle. Bag with many little misc parts, brass screws, brass knobs. Of note in the parts bag is a wingnut style hex key for adjusting bolts on the tripod, and a little vial(for lack of a better word) which unscrews to reveal a needle-type tool- both items brass. This is for this late 1930's Balloon Theodolite as shown which is great condition and all the glass covers are complete and not broken. Also all the lenses are in great condition with no scratches that I can find. This seems to work fine and all clear to look through the lenses and all parts swivel and move as they should and just in well looked after condition. This has a battery compartment on the top and this still works as a light on the outside turned on and off. This comes with the 3 glass colored lenses as well as a couple of other pieces as well a sheet of paper saying when it was last overhauled which was 1969 and it has all ticks for the components checked. Kern Swiss K1 Theodolite Here I have a really nice Kern Swiss theodolite that comes with it's own custom carrying case. There are a lot of dials and things that move freely as I'm guessing they should and the view is clear through the telescope part.
