Up for sale we have a set of older Bashlin pole spikes. With a matching Bashlin belt, the blue green one is the Bashlin. Also there is a Atlas belt included, its the red and yellow belt, both belts look to be in very good condition. The leather straps on the spikes should be checked before using, as there showing some age, there not broken, just dirty and have some cracking on them. I'm not familiar with this type of equipment, so if there's anything you want to know about the gear ask and I will try to tell you. Older set of Kline climbing Gaffs. These have the full replaceable gaff and buckle heads. The straps were bad so I cut them off. I will include one so you can make your own from new materials but I guarantee you can still buy replacement upper and lower straps from either Kline or a supplier. I've found both online. This is a good useable body harness made by DBI SALA. If you research the DBI SALA website you will find similar products in tower climbing. However the closest thing to this product I could find is in the FALL PROTECTION PRODUCTS for IRON WORKERS section. It sells new for $343.23. It has the Vest style back D-ring, sewn-in hip pad/belt w/side D-rings, reinforced seat strap, tongue buckle legs. Size XL. While this item is still in very useful condition the item is used, has a few minor snags and one minor flaw that was repaired on the cosmetic plastic part in photo 4(see Photos) Photo 1 shows the entire harness. Bell Systems E-2. Buckingham 2-68, Pole Climbing Spikes For consideration is this pair of Bell Systems pole climbing spikes made by Buckingham. These adjustable steel spikes. Have a padded leather leg section. The upper and lower straps are 1' wide by 1/8' thick and appear to be a coated canvas. They come with what looks like original plastic and wire clip on spike covers. Each one is stamped Bell Systems E-2, Buckingham 2-68 and a B. Also one is stamped WE28325 and the other is stamped WE28319. Both upper straps have printed numbers that are hard to read, but looks like 75249. The age is unknown, possibly made in the late 60's. These spikes are in very good used condition. As seen in the pics they still have most of the paint. They have scratches and spotty surface rust which ... moreis to be expected. The leather is intact and pliable with no dry rot. Although does have minor scuffs, scrapes, and wrinkles All rivets are intact and tight. Buckles are rust free and work as they should. Both spikes have a great point and covers clip on securely. These spikes have not been used for awhile and the straps have some slight twisting and curling to them which I think would straighten out with use.
