This is a set of Klein climbing gaffs/spikes and hooks, as well as a safety belt, size 40. These were purchased used, and I didn't use them much either. The date on the belt as to when it was made is 4/83. They were in my telephone repair truck and I used them to climb telephone poles once in a while. Everything needed to use these gaffs, hooks, and belt are provided and there are no worn spots on the belt or anywhere. These items are in very good condition. They definitely could be used to climb trees to trim them!

I’ve tried these aluminum spikes in probably about 6-10 trees over the last 2 weeks and I’m sticking with my steel spikes, I like the weight of the steel - I like the feeling of durability which I’m sure these are as well but just not for me I’m old school and stick to my old school ways. But notch hook covers, buckingham aluminum gaffs, and weaver felt backed triplethick pads. Barely used they are light but I like weight personally.
