Up For Auction is a pair of MSA-Brooks Climbing Gaffs Spikes. Great for Tree and Pole Climbing. Spikes and metal is rusty from sitting in a barn. The leather is beginning to deteriorate from age. Up for auction is this Lineman's belt that was my dads. It's from the late 1980's. He retired in 1988 and has not been used since. He wiped it down about every 6 months with leather conditioner. Nice Pole climbing Gear by Buckingham. These are pole climbing spiked shoes. Great Shape. The leather part says Klein but the blades say Buckingham Binghampton. The spikes are still sharp. This is a vintage pair of Bell System B made by A.E. Burgess Lea Co. 4-79 for Bell leather and steel climbing spikes. Overall, the spikes are in great condition. The leather straps that secure the harness to the spikes is suffering dry rot and would likely do well to be replaced for use. The gaff spikes are sharp and show little use. These were from a neighbor who has since retired, and they do show wear from use. Fully functional currently, they could use some TLC. Vintage Klein linesman belt. Pole climbing strap and climbing spikes. This is a very nice set. Everything is in full working condition. Leather is still soft and workable throughout all pieces. Items are dusty as seen in the pictures, but there is no mold or dry, cracking areas anywhere and item does not smell musty. Has been stored in a dry place in an attic for 15 years. All straps are in great condition with no rips or out of shape holes at the buckles. Leg climbing spikes are in great condition and are a deluxe model with upper and lower leather padding. Here is a climbing setup which includes the two leg spikes and the heavy climbing belt. It looks like a Klein belt but I cannot find any mark on the equipment. The belt looks very good. It does not appear to have had a lot of use. The spikes are in great shape, again they do not appear to have had a lot of use. Some of the straps on the spikes appear to have some mold on them. They should be tested, and oiled as they appear stiff, but I think they will work fine. Please check out the pictures, and thank you for looking.

Up for bid is a newer set of Klein Climbing Tree or Pole Climbing Spikes model 8210. Klein manufactured a complete set of durable linemans pole climbers and tree climbers. They incorporated the features professional climbers found most desirable over the years. I believe the sleeve length on these is fixed. This set of spikes has a cushioned and padded leather inner leg for maximum comfort. The spikes seem to be about 2 1/4 inches. The top foot straps and lower ankle strap have several adjustment holes for a good fit. Klein offer a unique climbing experience. Thse gaffs are prefered by many experienced climbers.
