I have for auction this large group of used linesman climbing gaffs and belts and other electrical climbing equipment. The Gaffs are marked buckingham. They are Catalog model 9227 they are good and solid and the point is sharp. the points have been protected. the previous owner has the spring action point caps. There are two belts. One is marked klein burke and the second belt is unmarked there is a climbing rope and other items I don't have a clue of their functions. If I had to rate the leather I would say the leather is average minus condition. the straps are canvas, so I know they are in good used condition. Up for auction now is a vintage pair of pole climbers. Made by Stringer Brooks from probably around the 50's. They are a complete set with the exception of one of the climbers is missing the calf strap. You can see by the photos who made them and I tried to take a picture of the back of the calf support that has the name Stringer on the leather. All in all they are in good shape with them being approx. 16" long and the spurs are around 3" Great collectable for the vintage utility collector. Vintage or Antique Pair of Leather and Steel Climbers. Front the Foot to the top of the Knee pad is approximately 16 1/2 inches. The Metal is rusty but very solid. Buckingham wrap pad with insert. These are a definitely an upgrade to the standard pads that come with gaff sets. The padding results in less wear on your lower legs. Gaffs are not included. It is a matching set. Right and left pad. There is minor wear on the leather. There may be some dirt present on the outer part of the pads. This should be visible in the photos. In the velcro area there may be some cloth material stuck in the"teeth" If you ever worked with velcro. You know what I'm talking about. Message with any additional questions you may have.
