This black coffee mug celebrates a record continuous run of 167 days at the Trojan Nuclear Power Plant from October 3. 1989 to March 19, 1990. Two years later, after a steam generator tube leak of radioactive water, the plant shut down and never reopened. The mug is in good shape, used very lightly if at all. There are a few thin lines on the outer gold ring where the gold has scratched off. All the printing, the Trojan horse and the nuclear symbol are crisp and clean. Vintage Power Plant Steam Small Pipe Location ID Markers. The markers measure 3" x 1 1/2" and 2 3/4" x 1 1/2" They are hard plastic. These come from a power plant that ran railroad tracks on the property during construction in the'70's to bring in large equipment as it was being built. Such as Aux. Boilers. The markers have identified where lines are running under the track and road for decades. Over the years other replacements, such as transformers have been railed in also. The area these plaques came from is under renovation and they were removed. I have no idea if anyone collects this stuff but I find the history interesting. Free Shipping!
