Hi. What I have here is a pair of hydraulic pole saws. I bought them at an auction on a crazy idea I could hook them up to one of my other machines. I have since been STRONGLY urged not to go thru with my idea. So they lay around on my garage floor.in the way.they gotta go! I have not tested them nor am I able to do so. They appear to be generally complete except for the one bar and chain. They do not appear to have been"operated" on. The triggers seem to move correctly and the quick tachs are in place. This bar tip handle was listed as used but was most likely only mounted on a saw once and never was used in the field. The dimensions are 11 1/4 long x 5 1/2 wide x 2" thick(including any protruding bolts) There is no packaging and it has a few. Mostly unnoticeable handling marks from sitting on a dusty shelf. It is not recommended that this accessory be used by anyone but professionals who are properly trained in its use and are wearing the proper protective gear. Up for bid is a starter tapping kit which includes the 5/16th inch tree saver taps and 24 inches of tubing attached to each. To make your syrup. Tap the tree about 2 feet off the ground, and run the tubing into a bucket. I like to use food grade plastic buckets which you can get from a restaurant or cafeteria. I then drilled a hole in the top and friction fit the tube ending in there to insure sap in perfect condition! Syrup can easily be made by a beginner using and outdoor turkey type fryer pot and heat source. Pour finished syrup in canning jars at 200 degrees and let them seal. Good luck! Syrup season is late this year and there is still time to tap and get some of your own home made maple syrup! Syrup makes a great gift or is a great alternative to store bought syrups and sugars. Great ... moreactivity to do with the kids!

In this auction I have a old time black powder splitting wedge.These were used long before you could buy a log splitter at Wal-Mart.I even used one when I was a kid to split posts and rails.Me and ol' Abe) This wedge is in great shape and in working order.Just put powder into the hole at the wedge end add a paper wad to hold the powder in.Pound it into the end of a log. This is a beautiful example of a vintage marlin spike. It's a C Drew 24 inch a little rust and pitting but hasn't been used much. Very good well formed tip. I'm a experienced cable splicer and this is a perfect tool nice long taper.

The Hooks are 14 inches from tip of gaff to top of hook. Straps are in fair condition. Needs inspecting and oiling. Gaffs are three inches long. The number 7 is stamped in the top of the hook. Also Klein and Sons Chicago USA and the Date or number 1907 are clearly stamped in the Hooks.
