This old log rolling hook is up for sale. It has a great classic look to it. And probably from the 30's. If you mount this on a long and strong pole, you can hook it into a log and leverage it over. More than on land, they were often used in the water with floating log barges to move logs and roll logs. It's marked from Michigan, and made by the Logging Tool Co. It has some wear, some minor dents, and a lot of miles on it, but it's beautiful to me. Overall length is 15" and the weight is about 3 pounds 12 ounces. I've sold quite a few of these, as you would find more of these here in Oregon than anywhere else. Make a good offer, and you could add this to your logging gear collection. I am the original owner of this saw/mill. This unit is in good working condition. The unit as pictured weighs 38 Lbs. This saw can cut an 8 foot board in about 60 seconds. 3 bars and chains. Bars are 36"32" and 30"an Oregon, a Skandic and a Woodsman Pro from Baileys, averaging a bit more than 100.00 ea. The chains have some life to not much but the bars show little wear, having 1/8" +- of depth left before the chain drive links bottom out. The chains show the tooth configuration I use. This saw had no spark, I bought all new electrical parts, started installation and found a shorted wire. I corrected this and now the saw has spark and there is the new set of electronics which I will include. The choke is a brass rod and it works as it should. Included are the manual and ... morepart list, also a hard cover book by Malloff on Chainsaw Lumber making which taught me everything I needed to know about chain saw milling. This book is hard to get. I am 64 an can make 200 board feet in about 6 hours without working too hard. The initial asking cost could be recouped in 3 short days of milling, at least I could, results may(will) very as I have experience with this mill. I will also include some notes about fuel, oil, chains etc. The building pictured will end up costing me under 100.00 less the roofing. I put shipping at 70.00, as bars and everything could be over 50 lbs. If it is less I will refund the difference, if it is more I will pick it up. As you can see the side cover has been altered/cutaway to allow the saw dust to drop down instead of packing in the cover, the chain adjuster is still there,intact and works as it should. Suunto PM-5/360 PC CLINOMETER. INCLINOMETER. With case. Housing is in excellent condition. Case is in good condition. Clinometer dial does not spin freely due to pieces of material that seem to have worn-off the inside and are now floating in the fluid filled dial. It does spin. But doesn't do so smoothly and seems to get"hung-up" at times. I wouldn't trust the accuracy of its readings. This is a good candidate for reconditioning by Ben Meadows or Foresty Suppliers. Up for sale is a Vermeer 630B stump grinder. This is a low hour machine(little over 600hrs) I purchased from an older gentleman who was retiring from the tree business. Machine has been taken down and repainted and wiring checked and replaced where needed. It does not leak smoke or knock. It runs great and looks new. Has a new ball hitch and all trailer wiring replaced new. Engine has been tuned by a technician totally familiar with the Wisconsin 4 cylinder engine. up for auction- Stihl Rapid Duro Carbide Chain for 25" bar. 050 gauge. 84 drive links, 3/8" pitch. model: 33RD 84 Condition- used then resharpened on a diamond wheel. It has not been used since. This was my personal chain which was put together with some left over pieces of reels. Therefore there are a few spots where there are two left or right cutters in a row. Not a big deal as it cuts fine. But should be mentioned. Anyway it's sharp as factory or sharper and is ready for work. The STIHL RAPID™ Duro saw chain features standard-sized cutters with carbide tips. Staying sharp up to four times(my personal experience with my duro chains has been approx 10x longer. They just go and go and go) longer than standard chains. The RD is extremely durable and produces very good results ... morein all types of wood. It is especially suited for cutting dirty wood, treated wood, roots and hardwoods, which would quickly dull conventional chains. This chain can be re-sharpened with a formed diamond grinding wheel OR a simple diamond file. I personally purchased diamond file set here on ebay for about $8-15. The Rapid Duro cutter is more of a blunt face so I've personally had luck with a flat diamond file. Some guys use round diamond files. It's really just a user preference. Speed of Rapid Duro chain vs conventional- one example- using a Stihl MS660 in ~28" wide by ~30" tall piece of oak. The Rapid super chain took 36.2sec to get through it. The Rapid Duro chain took 41.1 seconds. So only 4.9 seconds slower on a big piece of wood.

This wood splitter is made to be powered from a tractor post hole auger with a 2" shaft. I only used it once and since then have converted from a wood fireplace to electric. This is a true vintage D L T Co. Sawyer's Cant Hook which was used by the sawyer in a sawmill to turn the logs on the skid and carriage and note the multi point hook for grabbing on the log bark. The handle appears to have Sturde Tool of Indiana on it and the hook sleeve has D L T Co. and the other side has 61(model? and 2 1/4" on it. This is a great collectible and a tough one to find. I assume this blade has been used but don't know for sure. It is sharp. I bought it at a local auction. The way you see it in the photos. Loose not mounted on a saw, so I have no idea what it was on originally. Measures 19" in diameter. The hole is 1" in diameter, and the mark is the"2 82" Notice there are two(or three? tooth types/sizes. It is not warped and had some surface rust on the sides. Some of which I removed with a wire brush on a grinder. Please allow for it to be shipped to your street address. Not a p.o. box.
