This is a Magneto Gear For a 3 Hp John Deere Type E Hit& Miss Gas Engine. It is Original part number E76R. It has a 3/8 inch hole for mounting to the magneto armature shaft. The gear measures about 3 3/16 inches in diameter with a 7/16 inch face. And has 30 teeth. As You Can See It is A Very Nice Copy Made of Aluminum. Nicely Machined. This is an original Briggs and Stratton engine cover. It has the original gas cap. Original pull starter handle and bracket and gas tank. I'm not sure of the age but I would guess it is from the 50s or possibly early 60s. The numbers are shown so anyone who really knows these engines can pinpoint the age. This is the only part of this engine I have.sorry) Even the little piece that is inside the gas cap that goes in the middle of the gasket is in the tank. The original gasket was broken but I'm sure repros are available) This is an excellent piece for anyone who likes post war B&S engines. Engine#s YB70368* U*A. It dates to the year of 1995. It has a Rockford Clutch assembly bolted to it and is an assembly# 4-34510. Fitted with a 4 bolt sheave on the rear to power the accessory unit. This is a very nice original John Deere Type E 3 Horsepower Statinary Hit& Miss Gas Engine from a local collection. The engine was cosmetically restored when the owner purchased it. But he doesnt know what work was done to it internally. We believe every part to be original to the engine and it turns over fine and has good compression. We dont see any chips, cracks, or repairs and the engine seems to be in great original condition. According to the Serial Number 311215 it was manufactured in 1930. The cart or truck is not original John Deere equipment, but is from the same period. Fresh from an estate auction in Portis KS. YOU ever been in Portis KS? Let me tell you. It was beyond cold. Not as bad as it is here today. Actual temp right now on the high plains is 0 and headed to-10. To the engine. As can be seen on the photos it is missing the kick starter shaft if it ever had one. Other than that it appears to be mostly complete. Turns freely but compression is nowhere to be found. I really like the throttle that the farmer installed. A piece of wire. Item is used and was working when taken off of a 220 Cummins motor. The item has two broken retaining clips that need to be replaced. Item has an electric shift and plate with bolt patterns for 5.9 Cummins. Item has not been in services in the last 2 1/2 years. Gear turns by hand and seems to work fine.

Wisconsin VG4D Engine Description: Another excellent find! Very clean. Practically unused Wiscconsin VG4D removed from a Kohler genset- this engine had just 90 hours when it was removed! And since it was running on natural gas, you can be sure the insides are clean as the outside!d See pictures- everything here looks great and ready to use. Engine makes excellent compression when turned over by hand and that low 90-hour run-time is no exaggeration! Currently. This engine is set up to run on natural gas, but can easily be converted to run on gasoline with a more conventional carburetor. The extra shrouding can also be removed if you want to run this in a more conventional application. Up for sale is a 3 hp Novo hit and miss engine mounted on a nice cart. This is about a 12 year restoration and has only run a couple of times since and has been in storage. But now I need the room for other projects. As you can see from the pictures this is a very nice engine it has new rings and very good compression. I don’t believe it is missing anything. This is a pretty early(1887) textbook entitled"The Steam Engine" by George Holmes. It was printed in 1887 in London by Longmans. Green, and Company. It measures about 5 x 7 inches with 528 pages. It is excellent reading for anything steam engine related! It is full of information along with explanations of how they are built and how they work. It has several illustrations and mathematical equations in it. It has chapters devoted to boilers, injectors, superheating, valve and reversing gears, and much more. It is in fair condition for being 125 years old but the binding has separated from the body. It is missing a couple of the pages of the table of contents and one of them is loose. The rest of the book is complete and very readable. This would be a fine addition to your early steam ... morelibrary and and even better addition to your steam knowledge! This is an extremely nice original and very hard to find small sized belt driven rock crusher. It is an"Atlas Crusher" made by the Nelson Machinery Company in Vancouver. British Columbia. It is in EXCELLENT original condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind except for one of the grease fittings being broken off. I had it out to grease it and it will be easy to replace. It turns over nicely with no noticeable wear in the bearings or even on the jaws! It certainly could not have seen much use! The jaw opening is 5 1/2 inches. The overall size of the machine is 20 inches wide x 16 inches long x 20 1/2 inches tall. It has 13 and 14 1/4 inch flywheels on it. One flywheel has v-belt grooves machined into it as it was when it left the factory. It would work just fine with ... morea flat belt on it for show purposes. The flywheels have the name in raised letters and the crusher has some decent original paint on it yet. The only thing that will require some minor attention is that both adjustment knobs are stuck but I'm sure with a little heat these would loosen up. Everything else seems to work as it should. These little rock crushers are almost impossible to find in the wild or even at swap meets and they are real attractions when they are belted to a hit and miss or steam engine at the shows. They are usually all beat up and full of welds from their years of service! Not this one. It's as close to perfect as you could hope to find. I can deliver this for free to LeSueur, MN, Baraboo, WI, Portland, IN, or Coolspring, PA, later this year. I can also ship it quite reasonably through Fastenal. A one cylinder universal engine all taken apart. I got it as is. It looks like someone started to rebuild it. It has new valves.A complete gasket kit including the copper head gasket.also new rings and other associated parts. The head was cracked when I got it. This is a nice John Deere Letz 220A burr mill. These were made by the Letz Manufacturing Company and sold through John Deere. It still has some good lettering on it. The burr mill works as it should and could be ran with a tractor or a hit and miss engine. Use it at a show to draw a crowd and grind some corn. There are grease zerks to keep the turning shafts greased up good and it has an adjustment knob to control how fine or course you grind. There is also a nice serial tag still on the burr mill. I will not ship this item. It will have to be picked up here in Dyersville. Ia. and can stay here until May as long as it has been payed for.

This is a pretty decent original and barn fresh 1 1/2hp Type M International Harvester gas engine. It seems to be in pretty good condition but needs some restoration. It has a larger belt pulley on it with some old belt dressing built up on it. It is missing the magneto. Handhole cover and a few other small items. It has a homemade reproduction gas tank that looks great. The bottom of the fuel pump needs to be repaired or replaced. There is also a very old repair on the rocker arm. The engine is loose and shows very little wear on the governor fork. It should be a pretty straightforward restoration project and has some decent original paint on it yet. The nice part about restoring IHC Type M's is that nearly all of the parts are available from the hobby vendors. This is a very hard to find original WOOD dynamo or generator. It was built by the Fort Wayne Electric Works in Fort Wayne. Indiana. The last patent date on the serial tag is 1894. I'm not an expert on these but it seems to be in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs. The fella I got it from said he removed it from it's original installation just last year. It turns nicely with very little wear in the bearings. I don't know if anything is missing on the working end so look at the pictures carefully. There are two original brush holders on it and the other posts look like they never had anything on them. The dynamo measures about 21 inches tall, 18 inches wide, and 31 1/2 inches long overall. The original serial tag says that the generator is a 125 volt, 5kw, 40 ... moreamps, 1800rpm, and it has an Exciter. This would look great powered by a hit and miss engine or steam engine to make electricity for a building at a show grounds or on your property. Original 110/125 volt generators like this are extremely tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so don't miss your chance on this one. The pictures tell the story. This is a book titled Practical Gas and Oil Engine Hand Book by Brookes. The copyright is 1905. It measures about 4 3/8 X 6 5/8 inches and contains 192 pages. Here are a couple of good used Bendix Stromberg carburetors that I belive fit Wisconsin engine Models AA. AB, ABN, ACN, AK, AKN, BKN and ABS. I pulled them apart so you can see they are both very rebuildable. No jets or plugs are siezed. One top bowl gasket may not be usable. All the throttle and chokes are free. They both have a throttle bore of 27/32" and a choke bore of 1" and the 1/4" mount holes are 1- 13/16" center to center. The numbers I found on the float bowl tops are very similar. The only difference I see in these carbs is the one on the left has a fixed main jet and the other one an adjustable jet. The left side carb is stamped on the float bowl top = 25- 139 The right side carb is stamped on the float bowl top = 26- 139 PLEASE DO YOUR OWN WORK TO SEE THIS ... moreFITS YOUR APLICATION. I am saying they fit Wisconsin engines because my research showed a L26 series fits some Wisconson models and that diagram shown in the last pic is the L26 Bendix Stromberg which is obviously the same as these carbs.
