The valve might need redone as it doesn't always seat right. I think the guide might need a bushing. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. Seems to be 3/8" pipe mounting. The valve guide seems to be a little loose and the valve doesn't always seem to set correctly on the seat because of that.

Satley 1 1/2 horse engine(Believe it is a Nelson Brothers) Turns over and has compression. No oiler or mag. If needed I can include a Wico that came off a scrapped Witte for an additional $150. I have no idea if it sparks or not. Otherwise it can be set up to runoff battery and buzz coil. A friend and I bought a group of engines for the young guys in our club but when the engine showed up the money didn't so they are being listed here exactly as received. Cash at time of pickup only. I no longer have a Fastenal that can ship heavy objects anywhere close so item must be picked up or you make all the arrangements through another carrier to have picked up at zip 98380. I know very little about this engine. I got it from my father-in-law and he ran it last fall and summer. While running. The flywheel caught the spark plug wire and ripped it off so he spliced it back together. He put a plastic lawnmower gas tank on it. It has a wooden base attached and was restored years ago. It doesn't say model V but that is what it looks like to me compared to pictures that i have seen. If anyone has any info that i should pass along please let me know. I put no shipping on this ad but I will strap it to a pallet and bring it to The Fastenal store in Montpelier, VT for shipping to a Fastenal near you for no extra cost. I do not know the weight but would guess around 150 pounds with a pallet.

Up for bid today is a real nice Clinton engine with a hard to find kick start. Most of the kick starts were taken off and replaced with a rope starter cup. Due to most Clinton engines needed the extra or longer whirl to get them started. This engine starts and runs good with the pedal start in warmer weather, but does take the rope start during colder weather. Engine does not smoke. The oak show stand is included. This is a VERY high quality reproduction catalog that was printed in 1977 of the International Harvester Company's Famous and Titan gas engines. It measures about 7 3/4 x 9 1/2 inches and has 48 pages. It covers all of the models. Sizes, variations, attachments, clutch pulleys, and accessories for these engines in great detail. It even shows the Type A, B, and C tractors in it. It is jam packed full of information and would look good displayed with your engine at the shows. This catalog has been out of print for nearly 40 years and it has all the information that the originals did but it sure beats the $300 price that they command. The pictures tell the story. For sale a nice 11/2 hp Fairbanks Morse hit and miss antique stationary gas engine. Engine is loose and is an older restoration and was run a few years ago. But I have not tried to run it. Everything looks good and should run with little work. I could not find any visible cracks or welds. Motor is an early igniter fired engine that runs on battery and coil and has no magneto. Motor looks fairly complete and should make a nice show piece. Pulley has one rust spot on it but is usable. The cart is original fairbanks not homemade and has always been on the engine. Nice 12 inch wheels, has some wear but like the engine in pretty good shape for about 100 years old. These carts sale for good money by themselves but want to keep with engine so will not separate. This is a real nice original cast iron funnel that was factory equipment with some of the early prairie type tractors like the International Harvester Titan and Mogul. I believe that they also came with several other tractors like Case and other steam traction engines. It is in excellent used condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs and measures about 9 3/4 inches in diameter and 10 1/2 inches tall. It would look great with your early tractor or engine and would surely be a conversation piece. I've had a few of these funnels over the years and none have ever been marked with a part number of any kind. Some black paint that seller believes is original and cleaned up with beautiful vintage pantina look. Brass valve is in good shape. Pipe threads look good. Light rust stains inside valve see photo. It may need a few turns of packing in the valve-stem packing gland. Pulley is looks like it was made in the machine shop. It is approximately 1.75 inches in diameter. Spindle is stamped for 600 rpm. great running complete Brazilian Ford 6.6L turbo diesel engine 100% complete including starter. Injection pump, fuel filters, bellhousing, alternator, air compressor, flywheel oil pan, valve cover, turbo and fan. I removed this engine from a late 80's Ford CF7000 truck a few years ago it started quickly ran smooth had crisp throtle response. it has been in the shed ever since and it looks like I am not going to use it. Very nice condition vintage briggs engine. It has great compression and nice blue spark I have not started this myself but have no doubt that this engine will start and run, it may need a little carburetor cleaning or adjustment. The wheel horse rj25 used a model 8 briggs so if you are doing a restoration this would be the engine you need. The type number from the id plate is 107077 and serial number is 759051. 1950's era briggs engine.

Yanmar diesel engine that I believe came from a sailboat. appears to have a 2 spd transmission. Here for your consideration this piece of history. This cutaway of a model No. R1 Dempster pump. It came right out of the Dempster factory prototype room in Beatrice Nebraska. It is a little dusty from setting for a long time. The wheel pulley turns easy. The markings on it are DEMPSTER BEATRICE NEBR. U.S.A. I just got this used filter assembly the other day in some surplus from gov liq. I am not for certain on which small engine that this was used on. Most likely anything under 6 hp. I would believe. It looks pretty much complete, and in fairly nice shape. No question this type of set up by the intake and exhaust ports can be used in other types of modifications if need be, do to the independent piping ports that this assembly uses. An Early Toy Steam Engine Flame Licker in"as found" condition. The patent date on this piece is Nov. 20 1900. It is being sold as we found it. The engine turns freely and the flywheels still have a decent amount of maroon paint left. The base shows light oxidation and measures 6 1/2" x 3 1/4" x 6" high. It has not been tested. This is a real nice original and very early two cylinder steam engine for an early automobile. It was made by Mason and was used in some of the Stanley and Locomobile cars. It measures about 10 x 20 x 5 inches and is serial number 184. It is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs that I can see or know about. It turns over very nicely with very little wear. Even the chain sprocket is in good condition. I don't think this engine has very many hours on it. It has a brass frame as the earliest ones did. The only real flaw that I've noted is that there was a bracket for a pump that has either been removed at some point in its life or possibly before it left the factory. This wold be fairly easy to replace as it is just a brass ring tab the would need to be silver soldered ... moreon. Other than that minor item this engine is is in near pristine condition for being almost 115 years old! These engines hardly ever turn up in the wild or even at swap meets so if you need one for a project or just for a conversation piece here it is. The pictures tell the story. They just don't get much nicer. I can deliver this for free to Baraboo, WI, Portland, IN, or Coolspring, PA, later this year. It can stay here as long as needed as long as it's paid for and I accept many forms of payment. I can also ship it quite reasonably through Fastenal. This is a rather hard to find original International Harvster oil can. It is marked in raised letters around the shoulder of the can and it is in excellent original condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It stands about 7 1/2 inches tall and is even nice and clean inside. There are a few small dings around the top shoulder of the can but these are just enough to give it authentic character and can clearly be seen in the pictures. I believe these oil cans were factory equipment with all of the Famous, Titan, and Mogul engines and likely with other IHC equipment. They don't turn up very often in the wild and would be a nice addition to your toolbox on your engine or your IHC memorabilia collection or display. The pictures tell the story. You'll like it. As the shaft spins the governor opens and operated the arm which moves back and forth along the wooden tray. I'm not sure what the tray held or the purpose but the unit functions great. Here is a good used and rebuildable Walbro Carburetor model LMG 132. The Tecumseh carburetor part number is 29168. They are also found on some Craftsman( Sears) equipment and I am sure other applications. None of the parts are stuck. I water checked the float and it is ok. On the intake casting are these numbers. 51- 0- 80. The float bowl did have some rust but I soaked it in Evapo Rust which took care or it. Some pitting was revealed but the bowl still looks very solid. The tapered throttle hole diameter is 3/4" + or- and the mount holes measure 1-3/8" center to center. PAYMENT is by PAYPAL ONLY. Fairbanks& Morse Model Z. 1-1/2 HP Gasoline Engine This is a really nice old engine as the pictures will show. I have not run it. When cranking. The flywheels and piston move just fine. There is definitely good compression. Here is what I know about the engine and what I don't: It belonged to my father-in-law and it has been in his garage for the last several decades. I know he got it from a relative in Kentucky. I believe he built the rolling platform it sits on. Or he at least refurbished the platform it was on when he got it. I have a material list and notes he made about the platform construction. I never saw him run this and I don't know if everything is present to make it run. But I have no doubt it could be made to run by someone who knows these engines and would run just ... morefine. This engine doesn't appear to be one that sat outside much. There is very slight rust inside the hopper. But the exterior looks good. It is not crusty. It is very, very clean. The oiler and crank are there. There is a gas tank built into the rolling platform. According to the notes I found, it holds 1.88 gallons. The name plate shows patents granted in 1916, so it was manufactured that year or soon after. There is a crack in one of the flywheels. Which you can see in the pictures. However, a bolt has been fashioned into the wheel which repairs the crack(See pictures) I think that is what I am seeing, but I'm not positive. As I said. I haven't run this engine and I don't know if the engine has everything it needs to run. It may have missing parts. I just don't know. But I am confident it could be made to run. I have not seen another one like it(model or horsepower) on Ebay, current or completed listings. I think it is uncommon to find one like this for sale, but that is only an opinion.
