This is a very rare original watch fob from the Fairbanks Morse Company showing their railroad speeder car. It measures about 1 1/4 inches in diamter and is in great shape for being 100 years old. It has some characteristic wear from its years of service but just enough to give it character. It shows the car on the front along with"Fairbanks Morse Gasoline Motor Car" and the back says"Fairbanks Morse& Company. Railroad Supplies, Chicago" on the back. This would be fine addition to your Fairbanks Morse or fob collection. It will likely be a long time before another one turns up and it likely won't be this nice. The pictures tell the story. THIS IS A VINTAGE MAYTAG ONE CYLINDER GAS ENGINE THAT I PURCHASED AT AN ESTATE. I WAS TOLD THIS IS HOW THEY USED TO POWER WASHING MACHINES. IT MAY BE FROM THE 1920s? I PRESSED THE START PEDAL AND IT STILL SEEMS TO HAVE COMPRESSION. A NICE PIECE FOR RESTORATION. THIS IS A VERY HEAVY ITEM. GOOD LUCK BIDDING.

A set of gears to convert a hit and miss engine to a side shaft. Photo one. Shows the gears and the large gear is 2 1/4od and 1 5/8id. The small gear is 4 inches long and the gear ratio is 2 to 1 which is needed for correct timing. The second photo shows the gear on the crankshaft and the small gear below it. The third photo shows the front of the engine after conversion and none of these parts are included, just the two gears in the first photo. This is a very hard to find original brass Atwood Castle Model 120 sidelight for an early brass era automobile. It is in remarkably excellent condition for being over 100 years old! It has some very minor wear and dings and also some minor brass fatigue on the second tier of the chimney. The round glass and the red jewel are in great shape. The door opens as it should. It is marked Atwood Castle. Amesbury, Massachusetts on the top. The burner seems to be in great shape. The brass is in overall good condition and this is a VERY nice light that could be used just the way it is! It stands about 10 inches tall. These certainly don't turn up very often and they are usually only good for parts. This is a great survivor. Here is a used Tecumseh carburetor with 5023 J6M cast on the mount flange. The Oregon number is 50-651. THE FLOAT IS MISSING and you can see the needle and float retainer pin are there.You can see the lack of corrosion in the pics. Looks pretty good. It measures 1- 13/16" center to center on the mount holes and 1- 3/8" at the air cleaner mount end. This came from a buyout of a shop that did a lot of small engine repair for years. Like me I am sure he did not keep it around if it was not a usable part. It was found in a Tecumseh box marked 640017B. used" and the price of $60.15. PAYMENT is by PAYPAL ONLY. Vintage 1950s 1960s Briggs& Stratton 81102 Engine Go Kart Mini Bike Tiller See video above of it running off the bottle. You might notice in the video the noise when the pull start moves while the engine is running. This is from the pull start needing to be oiled. 2-1/2 hp. Type 908522. Serial#5905130. 3/4"x2-1/4" shaft. Notice in the last photo that the throttle return spring is not factory and is to large to get past the shroud. A previous owner had done this and had made some small cuts in the shroud and bent the"tabs" over to make room for the spring. I left the spring in place but did straighten the"tabs" that were cut. A Delco-Light Hit Miss Gas Engine Dealer Display in very nice condition. This piece would have been displayed on the dealer's counter during the 1920's when these engines where popular. The body is cast aluminum painted black with nice gold details. A neat old piece it stands 9" high to the top of the light socket and measures 6" x 5 1/4" at the base. Hello: Just found this in a very old shed. Not sure what it is. Looks like it might be a steam engine converted to a pump. Just a wild guess. You be the judge. It measures 25" long. 9" wide. 9 1/4" overall height. the Brass Fly wheel is 9 1/4" diam. 5/8" wide and total weight is 38 lbs. It is all most all Brass except for the base and screws and bolts and round piston rod. It was partially apart and not bolted to the base. I bolted it to the base with modern bolts. It turns over smooth and one of the outlets on top sucks and the other one blows. I think it could be used as a pump or very nice display or show. I couldn't make myself throw it in the scrap Brass. 1hp Handy Andy Hit Miss Engine by The Galloway Co. Waterloo. Iowa Up for Auction Only- No Reserve Highly prized by collectors due to it's size. ONLY 140 Pounds I have seen these restored and carried in the luggage compartment of motor homes or in the trunk of a car. NO VISIBLE CRACKS IN THE CASTINGS OR FLYWHEELS The piston is free but I believe the rings are stuck. THERE IS NO COMPRESSION. The rod and main bearings still have shims left in them. The movement of the crankshaft and rod is smooth. The cam gears look decent. See Pics. Nice little knife switch on very old. Possibly original skids. A small casting that supports the governor pivot lever has been brazed. This part bolts to the engine just behind the cam gear. The repair is just to the right of the pivot shaft's hex bolt in ... morethe last picture. In this picture you can also see where some one repaired the starting crank by brazing it. Except for the brazed starting crank and the little casting mentioned above I see no evidence of cobbling. Make no mistake this engine will have to be carefully restored. VINTAGE AIR COMPRESSOR TANK EARLY 1900'S I bought this from the estate of a man that had collected Hit& Miss engines. His son told me that this tank was hooked up to a air compressor that was run by a Hit& Miss Engine. The tank is not big. It stands 31 1/2" high from the bottom to the top of the gauges, the tank is 9 1/2" in diameter x 12 1/2" at the base. It only weighs 11 pounds. The tank has beautiful riveted construction on the seams. All the gauges are original antique. Look at the old control knobs they are really neat! This is a Beede ammeter. It is used for testing the strength of a battery. It is in nice condition(missing one of the pieces on the bottom by the testing peg) The glass face is there and it measures 2" in diameter. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks or repairs, and it measures approx. 13" tall, 13" long, and 8" wide. Up for sale is a hard to find Alpha engine from De Laval. This engine was used at one time to power De Laval milking equipment. This engine is in rough shape and would make a great restoration project. I was told that these engines were made for De Laval so other parts may be interchangeable. The engine is missing the head. I found this item in a New England estate and it looks like it might have been an old science project made by a student many many years ago to show how an engine operates. Very old and unique! Included is the item pictured: Antique cutaway engine display. On the back off the board are two wooden wheels that you would turn to operate the parts on the front such as the valve& piston. Up for bid is an old running briggs and stratton model n with the rare kick start& rope backup pulley. Don't know much about these but I was able to look up it's serial number of 80850 to find that it was manufactured between S eptember and October of 1942. This is also supposedly a WWII military era/issued because of several things including.kick start option. Brass id tag with screws not rivets and the od green paint. I was able to put gas in it and she fired right up.idle was adjusted lower after this video as well. Please see video of engine running below. Motor does have dents, scratches, grease, rust, issues, etc. and is not perfect. Would make a good restoration project for someone or enjoy as is. Would make a fantastic addition to any collection. Up for auction is a Fairbanks Morse 3 hp ZC-52 Throttle governed engine. This engine is complete and in great shape. It also runs very well. To restore it. It would need very little if anything. Maybe only cleaning and painting. It is mounted to the trailer which is also included in the auction. The trailer comes with a spare tire and has a nice custom stained box mounted on the trailer that says"Darn Tootn" The magneto is hot. It includes the crank handle. The only thing that i am not sure about is the condition of the gas tank. I have just been running if from the cup on the carb. I have no reason to believe that there is anything wrong with the tank but i am not going to say without knowing for sure. I really just believe it would need cleaning. Vintage old REO gas lawn mower engine. Please save me from scrap metal guy next week! Last heard this run 30 years ago on a reel type mower probably late 40's. 100% complete but have no idea if it will run now. Not stuck however. Unique to it's design is PTO is off the camshaft. So shaft runs half speed. Thought maybe someone collects or restores these.
