Description: Selling a Maytag model 92 in good. Un-restored condition. I bought this at an auction 15 years ago for my grandfather as he enjoys them. He is thinning his maytag flock a little now. Serial Number 563060 means it was made in May 1934. He had it running great about 5 years ago. Since I knew I would likely be shipping it. I did not want to fill the tank up with fuel. I squirted a little fuel in the carburetor throat and it fired easily. Here is a video of it running: Excuse the smoke. I mixed the oil a little heavy since it hadn't been started in a while. Condition: Missing air filter. But otherwise looks complete. I did notice the spark plug wire said Packard on it. Not sure if that is the correct wire, or if a Packard automobile wire has been used on it. Has a nice patina ... moreto it. But still has the Maytag dark green in places. Overall. A nice engine. This is a nice original low tension spark coil made by the National Coil Company. It measures about 2 9/16 inches in diameter and about 6 7/8 inches tall. It has been tested and puts out a spark that looks like you are welding! It has one original thumb nut on it that is marked N C Co. The other is damaged but still functions just fine. These original coils are getting tougher to find every day and they certainly give an authentic look to a nice original engine! The pictures tell the story. This is a lightweight Vaughn drag saw engine. No cracks. Breaks or welds I can see. I screwed a spark plug in and it has tons of compression. I am cleaning out the barn of all the extra stuff to try and make some room. If you have a Vaughn drag saw you are trying to restore or need an air cooled stationary engine for another project this one might work for you. Shipping is at the cost of the buyer. This is a very nice and scarce original prairie tractor book titled"Traction Farming and Traction Engineering" It as published by Fredrick Drake in 1917 and covers many of the early prairie type farm tractors. It measures about 5 1/4 x 7 1/2 inches and has 412 pages. It is in good condition for being nearly a century old with minor staining. Creasing and wear. It is heavily illustrated and is very good, understandable, down to earth reading! It is"a practical handbook for the owners and operators of gas and oil engines on the farm comprising of a full description of leading makes of farm tractors with directions for their care and operation. Also, engines for water supply and electric lighting on the farm and a special section devoted to threshing machines. Companies within ... moreinclude Bates, Avery, Twin City, Sawyer Massey, Minneapolis, Aultman Taylor, Caterpillar, Case, International Harvester, Rumely, Advance Rumely, Buffalo Pitts, and others. This is a waterloo boy hit n miss motor. I'm not sure what year it is or what the exact model is but it is in very nice shape and has very good compression. It hasn't been started in 3 years though but ran great when it was put into storage! The motor has a different carburetor on it and it looks like the carb came off of a smaller tractor but it does work great on the motor. The ignition has also been changed. It has a 12 volt electrical system with alternator for charging. And it also has a coil and points for the spark. It all works really good and it ran and started really good. The motor is mounted on a home made self propelled drive train and is hooked up to a older four speed transmission and then that is hooked up to a older car rear end. It all works good and it gets lots ... moreof attention in parades and shows! The main steering are that goes from the steering gear to the tie rod is also broke and will have to welded back on to drive it again but that will be a very easy fix. I have too many projects now and don't have time to work on this right now so I am selling this. This is a nice JD model E 3hp gas engine. I am selling the motor for a friend and he said it ran great when it was put into storage a few years ago and shouldn't take much to get it running again. The original gas tank is rusted out and will need a new tank. The guy that I'm selling it for just hooked up a different tank to run it. He had the motor stored in his barn and it was always dry in there and he kept them lubed and always turned them over from time to time. He is selling it because he has other interests now and is down sizing his collection a little bit. This is a rather unique early Crosby brass steam whistle. It measures about 2 1/4 inches in diameter at it's largest point and about 8 1/4 inches long. It is completely made of brass or bronze except for the lever which is cast iron. There are three separate chambers in the top part of the whistle. There are no cracks. Breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of and other than a few dings and minor dents to give it age authenticity. It was made by the Crosby Steam Gage and Valve Company in Boston, Massachusetts. It was patented on January 30, 1877. I'm not sure if the top finial is original or not as it doesn't thread on any further although the threads on the stem and in the nut are in good shape. The valve works as it should. The unfortunate part of this whistle is that it has ... morebeen cut off just below the valve. I'm sure with a little time an talent this could be corrected. Or, flatten it out and make it a shelf pet. The pictures tell the story. These early whistles don't come along very often so don't miss it. It's still pretty appealing to the eye. Good Luck.

This is an original CARBURETOR for a 1 1/2. 1 3/4, or 2 hp HERCULES or ECONOMY hit and miss engine. This is the common J style carb used on most Economy and hercules engines. It is complete with needle valve and choke cover. Only thing I see missing is the spring for the needle valve which you dont need any ways. Needle valve turns freely and threads are perfect and not wore at all. Needle valve fits snug and will not turn or move while the engine is running like the wore out ones will. Choke cover works. This is an original PUSH ROD with WEBSTER MAGNETO TRIP FINGER for a 1 1/2. 1 3/4. Or 2 hp HERCULES or ECONOMY hit and miss engine. Complete push rod with return spring. Roller is nice and spins freely. Complete webster magneto trip part number 345K30. The wedge looks to have been welded probably due to the set screw being over tightened but it is an excellent repair and hard to see. Other than that there are no cracks, breaks, or welds. This is real nice original WEBSTER MAGNETO BRACKET 303M1 for a 1 1/2. 1 3/4,or 2 hp HERCULES or ECONOMY hit and miss engine. Nice looking bracket. Points look great. Moveble point moves freely and I dont feel any play. Roller wheel rolls nicely and doesnt have any wear spots in it. Has the original wire clip and oil cup. Spring on the timing lever seems a little weak but everything else is really nice. I removed it from a running engine and it worked excellent and doesnt leak any compression. No cracks. This is the small 2 bolt Magneto for the 1 Hp and 1 1/2 Hp Sparta Economy Gas engines.These magneto's are extremely hard to find! This Magneto mount's near the back of the engine between the flywheel and block near the crankshaft. Here is a really nice tractor! We bought this tractor from a fellow that restores antique cars. About 20 years ago he put an automotive quality paint job on this tractor complete with all the decals and body work to make this tractor a museum quality restoration. He put the bands on the original steel wheels so it is ready to drive in parades without busting up the concrete! This tractor has been sitting in our barn for the past 20 years and it is time that someone takes it out to the parades and tractor shows where it belongs. this is a nice old restoration. I have the ignitor that has a very good repair. the base has a crack in the back(pic 6) only thing that seems to be missing is the pushrod and magneto even if not pictured I have them. otherwise all gears.Piston,rod,bearings all seem to be in good shape. This is an original Fairbanks Morse Type J4B73 four cylinder flange mount magneto for an Allis Chalmers tractor. Power unit, or other application. It is clockwise rotation and the impulse works perfectly. The magneto is fresh out of the estate of an early Allis Chalmers collector. It is untested for spark. It does need a distributor cap as there are a couple issue areas on it but it would probably work the way it is. There are no cracks, breaks, or repairs anywhere else on it. It has some orange paint on it but this seems to come off fairly easily. The pictures tell the story. These original magnetos don't turn up that often. Don't miss your chance on it. Good Luck.

Antique Wico Magneto. Type B2(serial 170) has dual spark, can be single or 2 cylinders, inside is just like EK Magneto- very hard find in good base, please look at photos carefully there small chipped on front by lever and one small cracked on top cover. it turnover smooth and snap like EK does, I didnt try make spark yet. Johnson 4 cycle iron horse engine model x-405. This engine was restored about 20 years ago and was set up to take to shows it powered a small air compressor that powered a old train whistle that was used in antique tractor and small engine shows and it has also been thru several parades. It has been stored inside a climate controlled building for the last 20 years I pulled the spark plug and turned it over to see if it was still getting spark and it was nice and blue im sure with some gas and a new plug it wouldn't have any trouble firing right up. This engine had all the gas completely drained and has no bad gas smell at all. This is a motor off a plastic Keebler give away go kart. it was not run but less than 10 hours and was crashed totaling the plastic cart out. the engine was pulled and drained and shelved. it has not been run in about 2 years but again was drained of the gas. the oil is still in the motor and will be drained before shippment. if you win the bid make sure to put oil back in it. Here for yor consideration is an old flat belt line shaft with 4 different size pulleys. You will receive everything in the pictures. 1, 36 inch X 1 inch shaft, 3 shaft stands that are 7 3/4 inches tall to the center of the shaft, 2 locking collars, 1 pulley 2 1/4 inches wide X 5 inches diameter, 1 pulley 2 1/4 inches wide X 6 inches diameter, 1 pulley 2 1/4 inches wide X 8 inches diameter, 1 pulley 2 1/4 inches wide X 12 inches diameter, and 1 piece with four notches that is 3 3/8 inches diameter. All these pieces appear to be in good useable condition with no chips cracks or repairs. This is going to be a 45 lb. package. Thanks for looking!

This is a 1915 Independent Harvester Co. Poster. The Farmers Company. Plano, Illinois U.S.A. The Fame comes with the poster. The poster in the frame is 29" Tall and 23" Wide. It has Hit and Miss Graphics on it. Along with 9 other old farming tools and equipment pictures. The calendar on the bottom is pretty beat up. But it reads January 1915. As Shown In Picture) The letter in the middle has a title that Reads"The Independent" And it tells you a little bit about the Independent Harvester Company. In the letter it tell you where the Independent was founded, different equipment they make, shareholders, dealers, and policies. If you would like to know more about the letter, feel free to ask questions) The poster does have some significant wear and tear on it. Its almost 100 ... moreyears old) The calendar is ripped up and missing half of the first month( January) And some of February. The sides of the poster have some water damage and tears on it. As Shown In Pictures) The top of the poster has some water mold and stains on it also. The bulk of the poster has NO stains and NO tears on it. The letter is in great shape. Sumter 3-m#16 magneto. Pat date 1915 and the base is pot metal but not broken and the threads look good. It needs a good cleaning but when you spin it and hold the wire against the mag and pull it off it throws a hot spark. It has a 25 tooth gear in great shape. You are bidding on a very nice model of a 2 1/4hp Associated Hired Man engine. Flywheels are about 4 1/4" I haven't done much to it. But it does run good, as you can see in the video. This is not a cobbled together model, as you can see, it is very nice. Compression is good, although a little stiff after running. This hadn't run in about 15 or more years until this video was taken today. I'm sure with an hour or two of run time it will loosen up a bit. The engine is mounted on a very nice, well built set of skids, and an equally as nice wood platform, with a built in coil. For ignition, all you need to do is connect a drill battery, or any 6 volt battery you have. Take a good look at the pictures and watch the video. This is a very nice well built model, but comes with no ... moreguarantee, so ask questions before you bid if you have any. I can deliver for free to Portland, IN swap in May or Coolspring, PA show in June. I prefer either check or money order as payment, but will accept paypal if it's really neccesary. This 2 1/2 HP engine is governed for 500 RPM belt drive. The Roper pump is a positive displacement pump. The Oak cart is made from an old heavy duty steel wheel cart. I have run the engine and it is in working order. I have not used the pump it turns freely so I believe it is also in working order. I believe this to be a late 1920s briggs and Stratton model Fh straight fin. It looks to have been out in the weather for some time it is stuck however most of the bolts came loose easily. The flywheel has 3 fins with the corners chipped but looks to be in great shape other than that. See pictures for condition. Up for auction with no reserve.

This is a 100% complete briggs model NP it has been in storage for a long time the original breather glass gas bowl and decals are in great shape. I have not put gas in it or tried to start it but it has really good compression and no play anywhere. I have no doubt that this would make someone a good running engine. Ive had several vintage small engines and this one is the most complete and nicest original one ive ever had. See pictures for condition.
