This is a rather hard to find original cast iron crank guard. Fender, or shield for a 1 1/2hp Hercules hit and miss gas engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It mounts to the crankcase of the engine with two bolts 5 inches on center. It has been primed at some time in the past but this could be undone very easily or leave it as it is. It looks like there's a lot of original paint underneath. These original crank guards are pretty tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets as they are usually attached to an engine! This would be a great piece to finish your restoration or just to have on the shelf as a spare. It could be a while until another one turns up so don't miss it. The pictures tell the story. these are ve4 wisconsin air cooled 4 cylinder engines. the two you see are manual start. Electric start is availible but will cost extra. they turn over freely but the valves are stuck not allowing it to make compression properly, anyone who really knows wisconsin engines knows this is a very comon problem when they are left sitting for long periods of time. mag style ignition system have several all turn but have stuck valves this price is for the ones without electric start.

This is a very rare original French sales brochure for the Fairbanks Morse Z gas engines. It measures about 3 3/4 x 6 inches and unfolds to a nice poster size of 11 1/4 x 18 inches. It is in good condition with minor wear and creasing. It has very detailed illustrations. It shows many different configurations of the engines and has specifications of the engines from 1 1/2 to 20 horsepower. This sales brochure would be a fine addition to your early engine literature collection. It would also look great framed and displayed with your Fairbanks Morse engine at the shows. I believe this to be a vintage scale model hit and miss engine that will pump the well handle and circulate water thru pump to barrel. It looks to be in great cond and everything turns smooth. I have not started the engine and also looks to have a couple wires going to the bottom of wood base that was previously hooked to a battery or capacitor. If this engine won't run I will refund your money and shipping charges. It looks to be old and authentic and will guarantee that as well. Up for bid is a very nice Maytag Model 92 Antique hit miss Gas Engine. The flywheel has serial# 405411 stamped on it which was in production in October 1- December 30. 1929. I have been restoring these engines for over 10 years now and I sell a lot of them. I also used to restore Maytag ringer washers and put Maytag motor's on them as well. This engine was completely taken apart and sand blasted and bead blasted clean and painted with DuPont Maytag original color code. I take a lot of pride in these motors and I like to do a little extra detailing like the lettering and some of the numbers as you can see in the pictures, I think it makes the motor's stand out better. As you can see this engine is complete and not missing any parts such as the pulley or air cleaner or kill switch. It ... morehas new rings, condenser, spark plug wire with new ends, new spark plug, caution plate and kill switch. I also honed out the Cylinder jug. Magnet ring was recharged as well and throws a real nice hot spark. This engine has been restored and freshly painted and the tank and top plate was sealed so it will not rust again. I do not paint the flywheels like some people. After putting it all back together I ran 1 tank of fuel through it and it runs just fine. Detailing with the correct decals finished it. I cannot put a warranty on these motors do to the age of them BUT I will guarantee it will run great for you when you get it and keep running well. My friend deals in Maytag motor parts and he took the carburetor apart cleaned and rebuilt it and also rebuilt the ignition plate putting a new condenser on. He also takes pride with his work. Here is one of the rarer models of the REO. A 1-3/4 HP Model 660H, that was originaly on a 1954 Flying Cloud early rotary mower. It has the 90 degree output drive used on thier early rotary lawn mowers. The engine. turns over nicely and has a hot ignition. You can see the crankshaft and rod are in nice shape in the pics. The cylinder bore is also good. A very good motor for restoration. There is one head bolt broken off in the head and I supplied used one. The head gasket is missing. The carb is the correct Carter Model N numbered 2026s for this engine. The original muffler looks decent. I repaired the ignition by replacing the original bad condensor with a modern capacitor. The fuel tank is nice inside but has the. All too common, bracket cracks found on these tanks. I tried to show those ... morein the last pics. It is also the type that connects to the carb with the rubber grommet. I will throw in a nice original Champion J8 spark plug. Do I have to say. THIS WILL COME TO YOU ASSEMBLED LOOSE? Here is a model AEH 6 hp Wisconsin engine that I had the good fortune to find at a farm estate auction. The low serial numbers on this rare collectible gasoline engine dates it to 1946 and the gas tank on this vintage motor has the remains of a Gibson Lawn Tractor decal. As near as I can tell the carburetor and part of the muffler are the only missing parts on this seldom seen engine that is not stuck and turns over fine. Recent high scrap iron prices have sadly put an end to many of these heavy duty old engines and parts alone are increasingly harder to find. A very rare and complete all original 8hp Lister VA power generation set. This unit is essentially a CS model with a different cylinder and head. It's primary difference is that it is air cooled instead of needing a water tank. The generator develops 220v 50hz single phase AC and DC power for your workshop or battery bank. This is a pretty nice original Marsh steam pump built by the American Steam Pump Company in Battle Creek. Michigan. It is in good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can find or know of. Everything on it moves freely as it should. The only flaw that I know of is that it needs a piston on the big end and the cover for that end along with a few fasteners. These should be easy to make and then you'll have a perfect pump. It measures about 17 inches long and about 12 1/2 inches tall. These pumps certainly don't turn up very often in the wild or even at swap meets so if you've been looking one don't miss your chance on this one. It's a pretty nice one. There is a patent date on the top of the lid of 1902 and also on the tightening nut section at the bottom. It is jan 31st 1905 It is a model 1 1/2 paragon. This oiler has something have never seen before on an oiler. 2 very old farm/ranch engines. Both turn over with good compression. Hooked a wire to the large one and has good spark from the Wico C mag. Haven't tested the smaller one. Nice winter projects to restore. Don't know much about them. Large one has a Stromberg carg and original Wards spark plug. Neat old machines. This Christmas booklet from the Richmond Works Planter dated 12. 1938, and the editor was Franklin R. Ullery. This edition was to the many employees of IHC. There are poems by Longfellow, Frank Linn, Diane Rogers etc. Warmest greetings to over 60,000 homes and more than 30,000 stockholders and nearly 3,000 pensioners" from the president. One small crease on the back cover and the staples show some rust, otherwise in very nice condition for 75 years old. This would be a very nice Christmas gift to the IHC collector. This is a basement fresh original Maytag 31 air cooled hit and miss gas engine. It is in good condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind that I could find or know of. It turns over and has good spark. It should be a pretty straightforward restoration project. It has some original paint and decal on it yet and also has the original v-belt pulley on it. The nice part about restoring Maytag engines is that all the parts are available from the hobby suppliers or right here on Ebay! This engine can be picked up here or it can be shipped. Up for sale is a barn find John Deere hit miss engine. When I got this engine it had a stuck exhaust valve. Took it apart and was surprised how nice the internals were. All springs are in good condition except for the one for the fuel mixture screw. There is an old Crack in casting which doesn't effect the engine. It will need a new gas tank and the mag tested. This would make a good survivor engine or a fun restoration project. There are no visible cracks to the cylinder or water jacket. Located 20 min east of Philadelphia PA.
