Webster K magneto selling for parts or rebuild. With the springs removed, this magneto will produce a weak spark by giving the armature a quick spin by hand and scratching the lead out wire against my steel bench. I don’t believe it’s enough spark to start or run an engine however. 2” x 2” mounting. I believe this is a good candidate for a rebuild. Mounting holes are solid. There is one small crack in the pot metal base next to one of the mounting holes as you can see in the pictures!! This item is old, used, and sold as is. See pictures for the absolute best description!

This bracket has a nicely done old weld repair as you can see in the pictures. I believe when the welding job took place the last 2 digits of the part number got grounded off! Center to center mounting hole spacing is 2 1/8”.

Original Webster magneto ignitor trip finger assembly as used on several hit and miss and throttle governed gas engines. It's in good original used condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. It has some minor wear commensurate with age but is still very functional. It measures about 5 7/8" long overall and is adjustable in length in both directions. It's ready to be used on a project or put on your shelf for a future need. The pictures tell the story. Here is a Webster magneto bracket for a Nelson Brothers built engine. I actually think it might work ok like it is. It might possibly need the arm tack welded to the shaft so it doesn't move. There is no wear can be felt in the movable electrode area so it is a great fit.

Research shows that this 303K11 magneto bracket fits the 3HP Up Field & Brundage engines often tagged as sattley. The 2 mounting holes measure just a little over 3” on centers. The 4 holes for where the magneto mounts measure 2” x 2” on centers. This bracket shows some serious rust and pitting however the movable parts are not stuck. The armature shaft moves freely and so does the timing retard/advance lever. The little trip roller shows a lot of wear and may possibly need replacing. The bracket has no welds or repairs. The primer plug is very rusted and the Oiler slot is rusted heavily as well. This bracket will require a little work im sure for best results. Please see pictures for the absolute best description.

This is very likely a hard to find original Webster magneto ignitor bracket for a hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. It is bracket number 303J83 and is in good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind except a very well done old braze repair where the roller attaches to the body.

Magneto turns over and has a hot blue spark on impulse right here on my bench!!! I cannot prove that it can run a engine but I would bet with minimal to no work it would be in “tip top” shape! One of the corners of the mounting flange is broken! I removed the points cover to give you the best description possible. Inside is clean appearing! I do not know what this item fits. I believe this bracket is for a smaller stover engine. Part number 303K19 Magneto bolt hole pattern is 2” x 2” on centers. The igniter mount bolt hole spacing is 2 3/8” apart on centers. Armature moves freely and the spring seems to have good tension, the points will need cleaned and dressed up a bit before installing. The washer looking piece that looks to be part of the casting is something I haven’t quite seen before, not sure if it’s a casting flaw or what but I’m not sure what it’s purpose was. It looks to be casted into the bracket. See pictures for the absolute best description. With some work this item should be totally functional. This item is old, used, and sold as is.
