When giving the pulley a spin by hand the shaft is bent and does wobble. It is a noticeable wobble! ( Not intended to produce a spark that will jump a air gap ). I think this item overall is in good condition considering its age but my opinion may differ from yours on this item!

Here is a very nice Sumter Plug Oscillator setup for an early 10hp or 15hp Fairbanks Morse Z Engine. It produces a very nice hot spark. That repair looks great and shouldn't hurt a thing. It will not work with a spark plug.

Here is a very nice Splitdorf 30 low tension magneto. This mag appears to be in great shape. It produces a very nice hot spark. Serial Number 8828. It will not work with a spark plug. In my opinion this is a great magneto.

I believe this is an original magneto bracket for a Vaughan garden tractor. It is brass and is in good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see or know of. These original Vaughan magneto brackets are quite tough to find so if you've been looking for one don't miss your chance on this one.

Here is a really nice low-tension magneto or dynamo, for an old antique hit & miss engine. This dynamo would be friction, belt or chain drive. (There is no drive apparatus on it). I did connect a cordless drill to it and It did work as it should.
