This cylinder head and carburetor setup is from a early 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 LA gas engine. Has good 3/4” exhaust threads. Good spark plug threads. Good fuel line threads as well. Valves move freely. Valves may need a quick lap job before installing for heat results. Has great original patina overall with no breaks or repairs that I can see. 2 7/8” x 3 1/8” 4 bolt hole spacing. I think this would be a excellent addition to your engine! Keep in mind this item is old, used, and sold as is! See pictures for the absolute best description.

I have for sale a cylinder head for a 3 to 5HP IHC throttle governed engine. The part # is hard to read but I believe it says 9178D. The spark plug threads are in very poor condition, may be possible to get a heli coil???.

For your consideration is an original International Harvester, IHC, McCormick Deering cylinder head. I believe this fits a 1-1/2 to 2-1/2hp LA. The 4 x 1/2” bolt mounting pattern is about 3-1/8” on centers up and down, 3-7/16” on the top set, 3-7/8” on the bottom set.
