The bag closer activates the hot melt adhesive and folds over the top to seal the closure. The closing device is mounted on a rigid adjustable stand. As the filled bag moves along the conveyor. The bag top is hand formed and fed into the entrance guide of the bag closer. V-belts then convey the bag top through the bag closer. This woodman machine was taken from a working production line(previously used for nuts and dried fruits) I actually have video of it running just before we took it out of the room. scale is an 8 head model. We have available an older AllOYD Fully Automatic Blister Sealer. Model 6S-CBE SERIAL#84-124(6 station. Automatic: Card feed, Blister feed, and Finished Product Ejection) This has the 10" X 14" seal area so however many blister cards you can fit into that area(with about a 1/2" space between them) is how many cards per cycle can seal. Being that is a fully automatic version. It has 2 feeders. The first feeder would reach up to a"magazine" full of blister stacks, pluck off 4 at a time for example, and place them into one of the seal jigs mounted to the turn table. The table indexes one position now exposing the seal jig with blisters that just got placed. An operator would then place their product into each of the empty blisters. At every table index, both feeders place ... moreblisters and cards. There are 3 open spaces on the front of the machine for operators to stand and place product. After those 3 spaces, the cards get plucked and placed, then the next table position is the seal station. A 10"X14" heated press comes down to seal the blisters to the cards. The next table index after the seal does two things. First a set of picker arms comes down and grabs the finished sealed cards so that they get dropped out the back. As they are being dropped, the next set up of blisters is placed into the empty seal jig cavities. Cycle speeds can be up to around 15 per minute. If we were sealing 4 packages per cycle. You'd be looking at an output 60 packages per minute! Floor space wise. This needs about 7' X 8' just under that) Typically a full set of aluminum seal tooling that includes 6 seal jigs(nesting trays) 1 blister feed rack& picker plugs, 1 Card feed rack, and one heater plate adapter will run around $2,500-$4,000 depending on how complicated it is.

This L sealer is made by Canvey Inc. instead of a hot wires it uses hot blades. I have owned this sealer for many years but rarely ever used it. This sealer cost $3.850. new and it is still in like new condition. I also own a smaller Canvey which we use quite a bit and it is hassle free.

What the spec sheet DOESN'T tell you. is that this amazing robot machine SAVED CHRISTMAS for us. We were terribly behind on wrapping our soaps and. If you've ever used a heat gun on shrink wrap, you know it takes a bit of finesse. Unfortunately, we didn't have anyone with finesse who had time to do the wrapping. This machine processes EASILY 400 packages per hour. Probably more. It has an adjustable heat knob that we found works best at 8 for our purposes. We'll ship it with the original manual, but it's so easy to figure out that the manual really is just cage liner(don't worry, we didn't use it as cage liner) There is about a 1/3 rate of bars that need to be touched up with the heat gun after shrinking. It's much quicker since it's just a touch up here and there. Not blowing the whole bar for 2 minutes. But I do want to be clear that you can't just buy this machine and sail off into the sunset never touching your heat gun again. Here is a SHANKLIN A-5 HEAT SEALER MACHINE. This has been sitting idle in a warehouse for a# of years. It is on wheels and rolls around. This is approx; 10 feet long. 6 feet wide and 62" tall to the high point. You may need to tighten. Adjust something here. The man I'm selling it for told me this and all the rest of the machines I'm selling were in operating condition when he bulk purchased them from a local company. I have many more heat tunnel.
