Up for bid is a brass strapping or banding tool. I know nothing about this tool. It belonged to my grandfather and was in his work shop forever. It seems to work when you lift the handle and bring it down. It clicks and the wheel turns. The tool is mostly brass(tested with magnet) except for the screws, wheel and lever. It has a#2 shown in picture#1, upper left, but that is the only marking. It appears to be complete. Please email me if you have questions. The tool measures 9" long, 3 1/4" high, and 3" wide. I just bought a great old factory in Fleetwood pa and the next 100 items over the next few days will all be industrial and pretty odd as well. This auction is for a nice used Vestil model SWA-48 semi-automatic stretchwrapping machine. This uses standard film rolls from 10" up to 20" and has a foot pedal for activation. Condition is good and it functions well. These machines are great for wrapping palletized goods with improved efficiency and less strain on the worker. We added a larger 60" diameter diamondplate disc to the turntable for larger size pallets. But it can easily be removed if the 48" is desired. Unit comes with an approach ramp for loading and unloading with pallet jack or dolly.
