For your consideration is a two piece poultry fount made by KLEIN MANUFACTURING CO. of BURLINGTON. IOWA. I will breifly describe each piece. Fill the bell with the liquid, you want the poultry to consume. Turn the plate upside down on the bell. While holding the two pieces firmly together turn over until the plate is on the ground(floor) Then carefully scoot to desired location. The bell: It has the KLEIN MANUFACTURING logo. In the logo is: K-line. On top of the bell. Is debossed 1/2. The open end of the bell, has an outside diameter of approximately 7 1/8" The closed end of the bell is almost 4 7/8" in diameter. The bell has a height of almost 6 3/4" In the back of this bell is a very tight hairline that is almost 4" long. This bell has manufacturing imperfections and ... moreglaze skips. Please examine the pictures carefully as they are part of the description. The plate: Is shaped just like a pie plate. The plate has a factory made groove for the bell to be placed in. On the bottom is a debossed 1/2. The rim has an outside diameter of almost 9 1/4" The outside of the bottom is almost 7 3/4" The rim is approximately 1 1/2" above the surface it is sitting on. The plate has 0 cracks and 0 chips. However on the interior sidewall, are four minor to insignificant rust stains, which were probably caused by KS water. Vintage Chicken Water/feeder 1 pint. glass with metal base Vintage Antique 1 pt. glass chicken waterer. Right out of the chicken house. I wasn't sure this would clean up after having stale water and food in it. But the glass is clear, holds 1 pint fluids. Base is a tin metal with large holes for feeding. I have seen these on tables filled with M&M's or nuts for a snack. Hard to find these in this nice of shape. I remember growing up as a kid on the farm having these in the chicken house.
