Sold as is- No warranty expressed or implied. This is in like new condition! We found this Brower#846 Incubator on a local classified site. Could not resist getting it. We have been using it as a hatcher. Our other incubator was over loaded with eggs. So really needed a hatcher. The manufacturer sold this as a 100 egg incubator. To be honest, I have seen these, but never used one. This has the manufacturer's instructions with a date on the last page in the lower right hand corner: 2/79. Guessing that means Manufactured in February 1979. We transferred some eggs from the other incubator into this and received an excellent hatch. We have some more eggs hatching this weekend in it. This looks brand new and has been well cared for. It is in the Original shipping carton with the original instruction ... moresheets. We will need a few days to clear our eggs from this and to"clean" it out. We used newspaper in the bottom so as top not dirty it up. Since our large hatches are over for now. We decided to go ahead and sell this. Shipping is extra. We recently bought a piece of property that at one time was a working chicken farm with 3 100 Yards Coops. This Debeaker was found in one of them. It does turn on but I do not have knowledge of exactly how it works. I know that it is to Debeak Chickens which is obvious by the name. This one is quite a vintage unit. I am listing several of my slightly used Little Giant Still Air Poultry Incubators since I over did it and now have Chickens. Ducks and Geese literally everywhere-I really over did it, I got Hatch Happy. I bought 6 Incubators earlier this Spring and definitly do not need this many, I am only going to keep two, just in case I ever need them again but even that will be awhile. These will be slightly used, about 2 hatches each but they have been cleaned and thoroughly sanitized after each hatch. This is a Little Giant Still Air Incubator# 9200 with original box but I can't find the instructions, you may have to get them online or email me and I will be happy to tell you how to use it, it is extremely simple. The little tiny Thermometer that came with it I could not read so I bought a decent ... moresize thermometer/hygrometer[not included] at Wal-Mart in the Air Conditioning dept for about 2.99 which I just laid on the eggs and was able to see temp and humidity just by looking through the top. This was much easier than having to open it each time to see what that tiny one said and it didn't have the hygrometer on it anyway. I did not use any egg turners-I thought they were too costly and by turning all my eggs by hand several times every day was able to keep a closer eye on them and had great hatches. On this one I did not install a fan kit on some I did and I did not notice that it made any difference in the hatches, they all came out about the same. I was able to get about 56 Chicken Eggs in it at one time and 20+ Duck and Goose Egg combinations-just depends on how many of each you are putting in there since Goose Eggs are so big. A Jiffy Way egg candler used to candle eggs before sending to market. This was made in the 1940's- 1950's. This candler has considerable rusting and the interior guts are loose inside. A collection of 6 different types of chicken glasses and blinders(7 glasses total. 2 of them are doubles- one in the set and one is on the matching head) And also along with two display chicken heads. All the items are used and in very good condition except for one of the red glasses which has some corrosion and two lenses which seemed to have shrunken over time. They do fall out and it is hard to say if they are even the original lenses because of the shrinking. In saying that they are also the rarest of them all in the collection and I have not been able to find another yet. They still look great on display. The red chicken head displays are exact replicas of the original manufacturing display heads for the chicken glasses themselves. One of the heads company name is Marvel Specs Arcadia ... moreand also has the matching Marvel Specs Blinder. The other head is named Helmet and there is also a matching Blinder in the set but unfortunately the hole drilled through the beak is a little of center causing the glasses to show a bit funny. I just kept it bare for display anyway and even still the hole could be re-drilled if so desired. Everything is in the condition in which I have collected and received throughout the years. Up for your consideration is this vintage Egg Candler with the original box. This candler is not marked. The box is marked with what appears to be an item number 87-3812. I think this was a mail order item. Judging from the cord. I would age it to the 1940's. It is tin and is green in color, shaped like a cone with a wood bottom that is painted black. I don't think it was used much. If any. It is 6-3/4" tall, 4-3/4" across the base, and 1-1/8" across the top. it has 3 holes at the base of the cone. 1 for the cord. And 2 to release heat. It has some light scratches from being taken in and out of the box. The grommet where the cord goes in the cone is broken. This item would make a great addition to any collection. But it also appears they may have been the first to caponize their birds. However, some feel that Chian and southeast Asia were doing this practice much earlier. The surgery can be done by hand instruments or electronic instruments. Typically after the surgery. A capon becomes much calmer and mellow and they will generally lose the aggression that you see with a rooster. It makes a capon easier to handle, and also changes the way the meat will mature.
