It’s has 483 on top of it. This can be used on a Hit Miss Stationary Engine, it has the vent tube but not the check ball. It has a 1/4” NPT thread. The cap on top is on it. The threads are slightly tweaked to the side, but still threads on a fitting fine.

All brass Detroit model G lubricator, turns free and I don’t feel any problems when turning it by hand, I have not filled it with oil to see if it will pump. Some of the brass tubes have been soldered and some need soldered or replaced, cracks in them. I assume there supposed to be some lids on the openings but I don’t have them. Thanks for looking

Pat’d 3-30-15 DETROIT LUBRICATION 3 INCH BRASS & GLASS Hit & Miss Steam Engine Oiler, ENGINE BEARING OILER MODEL 502. In excellent condition for its age. Glass is all intact, no chips or crackers. Spring lever top lid still functions at 100%. Top screw is loose and works 100%. Over all length is 4.5”.
