This"Ol Lonely Statue" dates to the 1970's and was a presentation piece given to special dealers. Or company personnel as an award. It is made, I believe, of a molded plaster material secured to a wood base, and is painted. He is all original as made, and stands about 8" tall, weighing about 4 lbs. The only blem I see is that the tip of his nose has the paint worn, not chipped or broken. For the collector of the"Old Maytag Company" memorabilia, this is a rare and desireable piece. Cast iron, 48 inches wide, 6.5 wide on the flat, center hole is 3 5/8, about 700 pounds, This is one of 2 flywheels from one air compressor, this one is smooth and the other has 5 grooves for Vbelts that drove the compressor. Offered at auction is a drip oiler manufactured by Gits Brothers of Chicago IL. The oiler is 2" in diameter X 5" tall and it has a 1/8"NPT lube line connection. The oiler is complete with both the reservoir and sight glasses intact. The on-off control and the feed rate control are in place and appear to be completely functional. Here we have a brass fuel injector with"Acadia Gas Eng. Co. Ltd. Bridgewater. N.S. embossed around the edge of the cap. The head of the needle valve has numbers for fuel settings, and"Pat. Can. 1913" on it. It looks like there were threads on the end of the square hollow rod that is inside the 1/4" pipe nipple that goes into the engine, probably at the crossover passage, and the end of the threads are broken off. Otherwise it looks to be in very good, undamaged condition. It is complete, and I can here the float inside moving around when I shake it. This is the same kind of fuel system as the 2 cycle Detroit and Sandow gas engines with the fuel injection where it uses crankcase vacuum to pull gas into the fuel bowl, and then utilizes crankcase pressure to inject a small ... moreamount of fuel into the crossover port as the air is ready to be pushed into the cylinder. Here is a complete set of greasers from a 1919 6HP open crankcase throttle governed engine that are all in very good shape. The three larger cups have 1/4" pipe thread and the two smaller have 1/8" pipe threads on them. They are as far as I know original to the engine. But will fit any engine with the same threads.
