Spud Wrench 7/8" Quick release Belt.These look very old?There is no brass plate on the belt,it is stamped as shown in photo AB.on the leather piece.MSA started putting the Brass AB name plate in 1955 but from 1950 to 1954 the leather sleeve was stamped AB with USS underneath the AB.Prior to that the belt was just stamped AB.They did that from 1940 or 41 to 1949.Before that there was nothing nothing on the belt that AB marked the belt with. This belt is a real AB belt from the 1940's.You never see AB belts this old.They came together at a house sale.Buyer pays shipping and must pay with PayPal. Thank you for looking.

VINTAGE Dust Respirator used in the 50's and 60's in the mining industry and made by WILLSON Co. that has been making safety equipment since 1870.This is in good condition with a buckled strap. It has the instructions with it and the filters are also included. In my opinion it does not look like it has been used. It has been in storage for a long time. The top box lid is missing but the folded tops are in tact and secured with tape. No other issues are noticed. This is a Great collector's piece. If you were a miner in the early years. A good memory piece or just a vintage collector of mining things in general or a piece of nostalgia or item to add to a collection. Questions and comments welcomed.

Up for auction is this Vintage USS Ironworker Belt. This belt came from American Bridge United States Steel Mill. The belt does not have American Bridge on it and its been said before that up until a certain year they didn't mark them with American Bridge. The leather lock mecanism was stamped and you can barely make out a circle with an S and that indicates to me United States Steel. There is no way to date the belt but you can see that it is in really good condition. The metal hardware is in good condition also. Inquiries are welcome. LeTourneau. Comes this interesting old framed large format black and white or sepia tone photograph of almost 100 machines made by the RG LeTourneau Company. It includes what looks like 60+Tournarockers, 15+ Tournadozers, and 15+ Tournapulls with Carryall scrapers. The frame has a tag on it that reads Consolidated Diamond Mines which would have put this picture in South Africa most likely in the 1940's- 1950's. LeTourneau ... moremachines were used worldwide and this picture most likely represented one of their larger orders of the day. This is a really unique image especially in this large format. Condition: This appears to be printed on heavy photo stock and is in very good condition. It may have come from the LeTourneau factory or offices here in Peoria or could have been part of an advertising program. It isn't marked anywhere other than on the metal tag on the frame. It has an old matte around it as shown. The frame is made of rough sawn wood and has a stamped metal tag that reads Consolidated Diamond Mines. The glass that was in the frame was chipped so it was discarded. IRONWORKER HARD HAT Looks like American Bridge and could have been but I removed stickers and put my own. MSA on brim and has the circle with numbers. Worn by a Local# 1 member and the sticker BABE was running for Business Agent. I have seen stickers on Ebay from other sellers so what is on the hat could be removed and buy your own stickers and apply. This hat will need a new liner. I worn it as is and applied tape over a split. In fact this the last hat that I wore while Ironworking. Has a slight line on the outside where the little"button" holds the liner plate inside. AMERICAN BRIDGE BOLT BAG This is a used item but still has some life! The AB is faint but is there. There are 3 holes at the back of the back where the seam is toward the last group of stitching. This solid cast aluminum nameplate is pretty much the icon of the truck crane industry. I am not an expert on Moto-Crane or Lorain. But I do know it's an old name and one of the bedrock machinery manufacturers who built the machines that built the US. The charm of this piece transcends a few generations. A rough estimate of age would be post WWII. Late 1940's into the 1950's, which puts this piece at what 60 or 70 years. The Thew Shovel Company, established in the late 1800's in Lorain Ohio on the Great Lakes made Lorain Moto Cranes, and like most of the old line manufacturers they got bought up and agglomerated along the decades by an ever emerging construction business. Moto Cranes were around for a long time and there are still a lot of them out there earning a living every ... moreday. This namplate is an authentic piece of Americana. It speaks volumes about post-war US history. The design has some Art Deco elements. Since that style would have been appropriate to the era. The original mounting nuts and bolts are included. By way of authenticity. These don't come with much more pedigree. The ultimate wall hanging for anyone in the construction business. Shipping is free to lower 48 only.
