I have 220 trees tapped every year and where I make maple syrup to sell and use a vacuum system. I need to install new taps every year for maximum production. In spite of this low production season posted by most sugar makers, I exceeded my last year's production with these spouts and took in 2,010 gallons of sap this season. These taps are good for at least two more seasons with a vacuum system and if you are using a conventional gravity system, you can go unlimited amount of years with these taps. This pump is made or cast iron with a brass liner on the inside of the cylinder. It's been painted glossy red on the exterior. The suction and discharge are threaded 1-1/4" pipe thread. These ate three early dealership patches. The larger John Deere patch is from the 1940's that has the four legged deer on it that measures 6 1/2 inches long and shows its age by having stains and dirt from being on a service mans uniform. The patch is a two. Legged deer that is 2 inches long, the other patch is a speery new Holland combine patch that is 4 inches long, all patchs show staing and use and wear.

This unit was operational when removed about 6 months ago. It is a good looking loader too which to me is a plus. It does not come with a grapple. But one can be priced separate if needed. We used it to load and unload RR supplier(tie, rails, etc. We are a construction company just doing some lot cleaning so be sure to check out our other auctions. I bought this processor head about 5 years ago but never put it on a carrier. The makers suggest at least 22 ton tracked carrier that has auxiliary hydraulics. I have never seen it operate. The former owner said it had about 1500 hrs. on it- and said it worked fine. Comes with controls and cable The bank took it back from him and I bought it at auction. Weighs about 7000 lbs. This is the neatest single seed planter I have seen. Carriage advances nice and smooth for being 90 years old. This design allowed you to leisurely walk and able to plant seeds. Unlike the more tiresome two handed models which was nice when you probably did this half the day. The names have worn off the front but I think this is still decent condition.
