This is a rare lot of 3 vintage antique crayons– 2 hexagonal yellow Lumber crayons marked Dixon no. 496 made in Jersey City. N.J. and 1 black Stadnal waterproof bowling alley crayon. They range in length from 3 7/8” to 4 5/8” long and are in what I consider to be good condition for their age. Krane Kar Emblem Logo Nameplate Plaque A Piece of Industrial Americana Hello and thanks for looking. Offering a Krane Kar emblem recovered from a local industrial site. Krane Kars were manufactured by the Silent Hoist& Crane Company of Brooklyn. NY and used on countless construction and industrial sites around the USA and around the world in the post-WWII years. They were mobile, smaller wheeled cranes used in light and medium construction and industry. Note our last pic. Which is a picture of one of the company's Krane Kar products, if you look closely you can see the"Krane Kar" emblem affixed ... moreto the side of the vehicle. It has two round head fasteners that were cut off, these look like they can be drilled out if you plan to mount the emblem to something. As you can see in the pix, over the years, the emblem has been painted and repainted many times and many colors. You can leave that as it is, or if you'd like, after you buy, tell us and as a customer service courtesy we can bead blast it for you before we ship so you can put a nice even fresh coat of paint on it. The narrow gauge is a late 40's and the standard machine is an early 50's.Both main engines and pony engines were running four years ago but were needing ring jobs and water pumps rebuilt. Neither of the machines have plates on the engine blocks but do on transmission under the seat. I removed all the sheet metal off the narrow gauge in order to start on the engine. I had made new flat fenders for this machine and have a GB pump that will work on either of these machines. Neither of the engines are stuck and the steering clutches and brakes work as of the first week in Jan. 2014 I am selling both for one money and I am selling them as is. Both machines were farm so they do not have blades or winches.

Vintage 1917 lumber calculator. Calendar and notebook from Three States Lumber Company. They had a general office in Memphis Tn. and Distributing Yards in Cairo IL and Burdette Arkansas. They provided Dressed and resawed Cottonwood, Gum, Oak, Ash, Sycamore, Cypress, Maple and Elm lumber. There is a 1917 calendar inside the front cover, a table of weights of Hardwood Lumber, A ready reckoner which provided a table for the determining how much different sizes of material you could get from different lengths, table for Doyle's Rule on Round Logs, Sales code and definitions of their products by wood type. Also weights and measures tables. The notebook as pages for daily entries. There are several pages with entries mostly people's names and a few numbers. There's minor scratches and a few that would need a little extra care to polish out if you're so inclined.
