Up for sale is a Milwaukee Hole Saw Kit: 49-22-4085. This item is"used" I used to be an electrician and as an electrician you always are drilling holes. So. You have to have lots of drill bits for hole(drilling) and also lots of hole saws for also drilling holes. And the reason for using hole saws was mostly for drilling into metal: Sub-panels, metal light fixtures, And the other reasons for using hole saws is for making larger circles in sheet rock for ceiling light fixtures. Sometimes I used the hole saws on a right angle drill for drilling into wall studs. I also was almost knocked-off a scaffolding one time because I was using a large diameter bit on a high torque drill and the bit stuck on a nail- the bit locked and the drill"swung" my whole body 180 degrees. This Hammond Glider. Originally used for sawing printer's type, is in great shape, and can be converted to a woodworking saw. It has a 21" sliding table that runs on ball bearings which is smooth and precise for crosscutting. There are many accessories that originally may have come with this saw. The only one I have is the micrometer gauge. Which is missing the finger assembly. The pins that register the gauge in the table are tight and need some filing.
