Here is an original 1926 Joseph Reid Gas Engines Gompany list of parts book. This is a good sized book with 96 numbered pages with illustrations. It is complete and in good condition inside. The front cover has a water stain on left bottom corner that goes into the first 25 pages or so but gets faint and really is not bothersome at all. Otherwise the covers show modest small stains and wear but are essentially in very nice shape. The forward reads. In this book will be found a complete list of parts of Reid two cycle gas engines and Reid Pumping Powers. Here is a 62 page booklet from 1877 on The Steam Engine by F.J. Bramwell. One of a series of Science Lectures at South Kensington. There are a lot of interesting diagrams, and it talks about a lot of interesting ideas concerning early steam engines. The binding is a little rough, but it is still intact and clean.

Early on I acquired a KELLER and a REEVES gas engine and spent 40+ years chasing them and info on them. And remain thankful to Tom Enderson and Lotus Alexander for their input and guidance. FYI: Contrary to what Wendel says in his write-up on the REEVES they never produced ... morea 1 1/2 HP according to the original field notebook of Reeves Chief Engineer“Llewelyn” that was owned by Lotus. A former employee of the Reeves Wood Pulley Company. He also had specifications for a 14HP they decided not to produce.
