This is a very nice ORIGINAL sales catalog for Gilson hit and miss gas engines. It is catalog G-7 and measures about 6 1/8 x 9 1/4 inches with 32 pages. It shows all of the features and variations of the Gilson engines that were available back in the day. It is in good condition with only minor wear and soiling. It has a slight water stain along the top edge but this in no way affects the information it contains. These original catalogs are extremely tough to find in the wild and they really make a display more complete when they accomodate an engine at the shows. The pictures tell the story on this piece. For sale is a Witte model B 10 HP oil field pump jack engine. It is set up to run on well head gas. Easy conversion to propane. Clutch works as it should. There are no breaks or welds on this engine. It has been kept inside since removed from the well. All I did was clean the points, prime it with gasoline and it started on the first turn after sitting 10 years. It carries great oil pressure, no knocks or smoke and is very smooth running, sits still on the skids at all RPMs. I have not tried to run it on natural gas or propane but see no reason why it would not work as it should. I do not have a starting crank handle. I will not ship this item. We can load it with a forklift. Please read the terms carefully. They are not complicated. This item must be picked up. This is a 48 page USED original operating manual. Complete list and diagram of parts for the Fairbanks Morse"Y" Horizontal Oil Engine. It is used and has the look of a few dirty hands. My father used this manual to operate this engine on our farm in Tulare, California. The engine ran until the mid 1960's when it was replaced with an electric turbine. T his is a wisconsin 14-6 HP TF series engine.Cast iron Block in very good condition.It only has about 10 hrs on it since major overhaul. It has a three belt flywheel. The spec# is92453 and the ser# is 2164840 It's original use was in a railroad dingy car It was built in 1953. It was rebuilt about 20 years ago just before I stopped using it. WE will start the engine and let it run at pickup. If not satisfied? No sale/ I will except cash in hand at pick up The engine is located in Salisbury NC. Antique steam and gas engine book in good condition. This book was published in 1906 by the American School of Correspondence. It is a book on the construction. Use, care, operation, repair, installation and trouble shooting of steam engines, gas engines and refrigeration. Covers pretty much everything you ever wanted to know about these subjects. This is a large volume with 477 pages. A great reference with nice illustrations of several steam engines, Charter gas engine, Fairbanks Morse and a few others. This book measures 7 inches X 9 3/4 inches. There is some wear on the covers and bottom and top of spine. There is also some separation of the binding in a few areas.
