A 1998 Prentice 310E knuckleboom log loader that is a good machine. I originally bought to unload pulpwood for my firewood business(which I have sold) Things that I know are wrong with the machine: Front window is cracked(see picture) tack sticks until you rev the engine up to operating rpm after starting will need a tire or two in the near future(a ll tires hold air and it is ready to be towed) Other info about the machine: I am third owner. 6 cyl John deere engine. all buttons and lights work. Heat and air work. saw buck hookups(I believe the work but I have now sawbuck to try it out on) New batteries in Feb 2013. Grapple swivel repacked a few months ago. I replaced all hoses from boom to and throughout the grapple with in the last year. I just recently had it moved to my house from a logging job and was told it pulled fine. I have the service. Owners, and parts manual with a maintenance log of everything I have done to the machine since I have had it. New hydraulic oil filter and engine oil and filters have all been changed. Good machine will start right up down to about 30 degrees. Then you will need some ether or other aid. I wish I could keep. But I don't log full time and cannot justify keeping it as i have no semi to pull it with. I really like this unit, and wish I could justify keeping it. For sale is a ASPLUNDH Whisper chipper- Model JEY. This chipper was purchased wholesale from a local municipality. I used it for a couple years as I was cleaning up a wood lot and was chipping scraps from a bandsaw mill. The chipper has a SIX(6) Cylinder FORD motor(newer ones only have 4 cyl) The motor cranks right away and runs strong. I have changed the oil and filter and replaced the alternator and battery- no other engine maintenance has been needed. If you want it for road use(pulling behind dump) then you will probably want to replace the tires. Re-work the lights, and possibly upgrade the hitch. I have not bothered for local trips and use around the farm. The unit comes with 2 extra sets of knives. I bought 4 Honda engines with these gear boxes attached.I got them from a go cart track who updated all carts with bigger engines.I just wanted engines so I removed the gear boxes off.The engines had 20 mm keyed shafts and gear boxes have 19.05 mm keyed out put shafts.I'm sure they may need a new gasket any local Honda dealer should have.I did use the 4 bolts that attached gear boxes to engine on my other projects.So you will need 4 metric bolts.It is also possible that I put some of bolts back inside gear box when put in storage.They have been sitting on a shelf collecting dust for a couple years,just the way you will get them.This auction is for all 4 gear boxes that I have.Selling as is with no warranties or returns.Thanks,feel free to ask questions.

Dura Tech HD-13 Grinder 1998 Model Hood Elevating Cab Excellent Running 3412 Cat Engine Owned the Grinder for 7 Years and Never Gave any trouble. Mechanic was working on it and engaged the clutch and spun the grates in the mill and bent the grates in the mill and broke the bearings. Later a friend borrowed the clutch assembly and flywheel and didn't return them. Took the boom cylinder off to have it packed and I never picked it up.
