Large lot of vintage Remington chainsaw parts lists and repair/service manuals. For most if not all of the Remington chainsaws made in the 1960's and 1970's. One page time and labor schedule to estimate time to do repairs. There are about 18 Service Bulletins. They cover repair procedures. These are generally 1 and 2 pages flyers. There are about 22 different parts lists. They have illustrations of the saws broke down and have the parts named and numbered. There are too many model numbers for me too list so I hope you can read them in photo#12. These are generally 2 to 4 pages each. There are 3 Service Procedure manuals. These give the details of how to do repairs. They are 15. 32, and 24 pages respectfully. There are 3 carb manuals. Tillotson 27 pages. And(2) different Walbro(5 pages ... moreea) At the end there is an updated master parts price list dated 1981 that is 8 pages. There is a total of about 46 manuals and flyers. There is a total of over 200 pages. It is hard to count all this stuff but the numbers are a good close estimate. The manuals sell individually for $10 each and up(if you could even find them) and these old saw manuals are hard to find. In a 3 ring Remington binder. Page size 11 X 8 1/2 inches. Weight about 2 1/2 pounds. A great addition for anyone who collects. Works on, or owns old Remington chainsaws. Nice overall condition with wear and aging to some pages. Might be a few small faults, maybe some wrinkles but overall totally sound. I took a quick look see and pages seem to have some smears from handling, and are for the most part unmarked and untorn. This was an excellent running and working PRENTICE 120 KNUCKLEBOOM HYDRAULIC LOADER bought from a closing saw mill. The machine in mounted on an I beam base. Comes with the electrical system, hydraulic tank, and coolant system to power and operate the loader in a stationery type of work load. It does come with everything pictured, but does not have a grapple, we did not get one when we bought it. these are the highest end gaffs i have ever seen. they are plastic and fully adjustable and very comfortable. i was asked to try them out for a friend who sells these. i am and have been a professional arborist for 15 years. they had a full foot rest on them that made them ideal for pole work or standing in a tree for long periods. we cut the front and back off the foot bed to make them more appropriate for removal type work or pruning. if you have decent boots. The footbed seemed totally useless and just got in the way of boots touching branches. the leather and felt is as new as you can get. they are cadillacs and $450 here in canada. i will ship to canada and US only. it will be in the $25 to ship range for sure. i am getting rid of some nice older metal spurs as well in another listing. ... morethey are more like fords lol(kleins with replaceable gaffs)

This is the story on this bandmill. My Dad bought it new in 2000 or 2001. I picked it up for him at the factory in Nacogdoches. Tx. He used it to cut maybe 3 or 4 stacks of lumber TOTAL. The problem he had was the toggle switch carriage control. The toggle switches are the type that do not return to the neutral position. In other words. If You forgot to return the switch to neutral when the carriage had reached the end of the track, the electric travel motor would burn up. This happened twice. The company sent him new motors both times. But, after the second time, he never put the new electric motor on. The mill sat idle for several years until I hooked to it and brought it to our equipment yard in New Albany. I found the brand new carriage travel motor in a filing cabinet and installed it. ... moreBut. I NEVER FOUND THE COG THAT FIT THE 3/8" MOTOR SHAFT* You can see in the pictures. The mill starts and runs great. The sprockets and bearings show no wear( as it was used very little) Gas will overflow from the carb if it is not being run. The needle and seat most likely. Otherwise. The 25 hp Kohler runs as well as ever. no smoke, etc. The engine was covered by a tarp. So. It was not exposed to the elements for all the time it has been outside. The controls are simple. only 2 switches. They still function fine. But. You will need to order the cog for the motor pictured. or, make one. You can see the other one in another photo. full disclosure. I purchased these at a thrift store. I was pretty excited to have them but they didn't fit& I'm pretty much a solid size 30. It's possible I shrunk them after washing& drying them before trying them on but to me, they hardly look worn. anyone in the tree business knows clothes& gloves don't last long. so my point is. Either Arbor wear is either a very tight 30 cut or the past owner shrunk them or both. whatever. there in decent shape. I think that's that plastic thing that holds the price& info on the size tag to. Since I'm pretty much a 30(with all my other pants/shorts) I'm guessing these would fit a 28 inch waist. The style of these pants is Arbor Estimator short style# 302511. which also may explain why these are in decent shape.
