Coast to Coast Electric Fencer Charger Controller Used. Excellent condition. Works the same as it did when it came out of the box many years ago. It's the older transformer type so it's not rated in miles of fence. The instant arc type need that designation because the fence itself acts like a capacitor and absorbs that instantaneous arc and the longer the fence the less effective they become. The old transformer type like this are far less susceptible to this phenomenon. Also these older types will actually burn off weeds and are less susceptible to lightning damage. The nameplate says Coast to Coast but I'm pretty sure Holdem made it and that's the only type I will ever use and I've been doing cattle for over a half century. The plug in chopper on the bottom is brand ... morenew and they usually last about 5 to 10 years. They were getting tough to find for awhile but now with internet that isn't such a problem. The two hot terminals are high power and low power and were principally designed for use where the high was for the fence and the low was for the cow trainers in the barn to encourage the cattle to back up a little in their stanchions to make their deposit in the gutter and not where they would lay down in it. It's slow make and break type and one of the lights indicates that the fencer is on and working and the other indicates if the fence is shorted out by the reed canary in the north swamp. Up for sale is a good used Gallagher HR1 EID ear tag reader. Or the other name is a G-Stick. We've owned this for 3 years and ours membered failed us. We just upgraded to the HR3 Bluetooth version and don't need this one anymore. We owned an older style tag reader called an All Flex brand ear tag reader and it worked the same as that one when that one stopped working. this is a pair of MooreMaker 10" fencing pliers. I'm selling them as used but they only rode around in a feed truck. So they haven't been used hardly at all, may be not at all! they are made in theTexas panhandle in the USA. they have slight rust marking on one side,but it can be wire brushed off. these normally sell for about $70.00 new, so your saving some money here.
