I bought this chipper in the late 1990s' I believe it to be a model 290 Morbark. It has a Perkins diesel that runs great. It is a disc model with two knives. And is fed through the chute with two counter hydraulic rotating spiked drums. The direction of the drums are controlled with the tubular handle that flanks the chute. Push the handle forward and the drums drag the log, limbs or brush into the machine. Pull the handle back and the drums reverse direction. I have fed a 12" log into this chipper with no problem. The suspension had been replaced shortly after purchase. There were broken leafs in the spring packs. Fenders. Lights and wiring all have been replaced. You can see several different colors of paint on the chipper. When I bought the chipper it was all the dark red color. ... moreOver the years the paint started to peel in areas and the other colors revealed. The disc assembly. The complete assembly, was replaced and has less than 8 hours running time. You can chip a lot of wood in eight hours running time.The diesel starter was replaced last fall. The chipper has been serviced this spring and is ready to go to work. I fabricated a disc lock for the pintle ring that can be seen in the first picture. It locks out the tongue of the chipper. All gauges work and the tongue has a splitter. Never used the tongue splitter. I'm getting up in the years now and I had to make the hard decision to give up my tree business. I'm selling my tree equipment and chipper truck. I'm getting too old for this type of work. Even though it was part time. My day job has put me permantly on dayshift and it has ended my opportunity to conduct the business I had been able to do when on afternoons. Frick company 2 saw blade edger. Early 1900's model Casting Perfect no cracks solid! 4 inch depth cut! Hook up power source and go. Great old industrial edger. Talked to persons who used to run this edger back in the day at a working sawmill and they said it ate flintches all day long. Looks like 20 inch capacity. This auction is for a 2008 Salsco 30" shaving mill. The shaving head is 30" wide and contains 5 knives. It is powered by a 75 hp 3 phase 440 volt electric motor. The hydraulic drive for the log box is powered by a separate 10 hp motor. The machine takes whole 8 ft. logs up to 30" in diameter and makes wood shavings out of the entire log for animal bedding or other purposes. It takes only one person to operate it and once the box is filled with logs. The mill will run automatically by itself until the log box needs to be re-filled. The mill is in excellent condition and ready to use. You are responsible for transportation costs. We have forklifts available at the equipment location to load it on a truck or trailer.

This old double-bit ax is. No doubt, retired. We bought it at an estate sale in West Montana and it has some cracks and chip-outs below the steel in the wood where the fire fighters apparently missed their cutting target. There is too much patina to make out a brand name on it. Please notice the yellow paint still stained in the wood below the steel which indicates that it was used to fight fires, at least the ones we have seen. The handle is still solid with no rot and the ax head is ready to go to work if sharpened or hung on a wall to rest.It weighs 4lbs.12oz.of wood& steel.

Here are some parts off my old Corley 395 sawmill. It is the Spring receder. Spring, brackets, and pedal. I have included pictures of the 4 parts in this auction. These were in use until I got a newer mill. They appear to be in good shape. The spring I bought new while I had it. The other parts were with the mill when I bought it. The only repair I can see is a weld on the foot pedal, done well. I never had trouble all the years I used it. Paint, rust, pitting. These parts are old, but very functional. This mill is in excellent condition, was gone over thoroughly, Band belts replaced/ new blades/ Engine( 27 HP Kolar) maintained and tuned up/ New alternator/ New battery& Cables etc. fortunately for the person buying this I am a perfectionist on all my equipment so this isn't top-notch shape. This is one of a kind and not being made anymore. It is in my opinion is the best top handle saw ever made. It is used never and has had oil or gas in it. Hey guys. I'm selling this almost new: 1 Wes Spur deluxe climbing starter kit(weaver saddle. 150ft 1/2" Samson bigfoot line, plus all needed accessories for VT descent including work lanyard, carry bag) Plus: 1 60" friction saver 1 50" saw lanyard 1 12oz throw weight All of these items have only been used on these occasions only: 1 practice climb into a eucalyptus tree 1 work climb to trim that eucalyptus tree 1 work climb to trim a pepper tree Important: There has been no shock loading on any item. Since I was new to the field. While on the climb I spent time being careful so I didn't kill myself or put myself into a situation I couldn't get out of. The saw lanyard was used to hang my hand saw from. A chainsaw was not used on any of these climbs. The rope hasn't ... morebeen pulled all the way out of the original bag yet. This tractor come from a local farm and was supposed to have ran when parked a couple of years ago approx 2 yrs parked. Everything was supposed to have functioned then. The serial number is 22T. This tractor is beloved to come from the factory propane standard. The tractor does not have a battery in it and I do not have time to mess with it.
