Gentlemen. First let me tell you a little bit about the building. The building is located in Gods country, Springdale/Zion Natl. Park Utah. I contracted a property/estate cleanup project, 2.homes and 5 shops on about 1-1/2 acres. The property belonged to a 97 year old man that recently passed away, he was a bachelor/handyman/appliance repairman/hoarder. This Quonset Hut was his main shop, the building is approximately 30' wide x 60' long x 16' tall. I know the photos look a little rough because of all the junk around it, don't be fooled, the building is in excellent condition, no dents, no rust, and very few holes have been cut into it, the only penetrations are in the front/door side, a couple 2-1/2" conduits for utilities and a 3" flue pipe, it has a Reznor propane ... moreunit heater inside, the heater is included. It has double 6' x 12' sliding doors, they open like a dream. This building is the heavy gauge/deep ribbed model, the military would bury this model for bunkers. The building is not insulated, but it can be, the prefab insulation panels are still available for purchase. The reason I am selling the building at such a low price is because the buyer is going to have to dismantle and transport it themselves. I will have in and around the building cleaned up so no problem there, I can assist loading the building onto a trailer, the buyer can also use my ladders and scaffolding so they wont have to haul that with them. If my telescopic forklift isn't being used by myself or one of my employees it can be used as well. I can make arraignments for discounted hotel rooms if that will help. 2 or 3 guys with good cordless impact drivers and I don't see why the building couldn't be dismantled/banded and loaded in 2 days, 3 tops. This is an oldie but a goodie! I have been here for 2 years and love the community! I have to relocate and want to sell before I do. I just put in a new furnace. Central air and insulation, heat tape and water lines in feb of this year. I had the roof coated with a tar/fiberglass mix when I moved in. I am taking a loss as it is now with the asking price! If you have been looking at metal buildings you know the cost and what a value this is. For a little labor you can have one really large setup or several smaller ones. 6061 Aluminum pipe. 2" ID 1/8" Wall Schedule 40 Weight of individual pipes 25 lbs each. We used this pipe to put up a Quonset style building for our project. Building was 30' high. 50' wide and 80' long. You can erect a similar structure or something of your own design. We used muffler pipe to provide horizontal stiffeners. You will need to supply your own horizontal pipe. Some of the aluminum eyelet rings which hold the horizontal pipe have broken off and will need to be replaced if you decide to put it up as we did. This is a used structure and some pieces may need repair to connect the unit together ... moreas shown. The 20’ aluminum arches are in good condition and there are 88 of them that make up what you see. The 20’ pipes are pre-drilled to slide a coupler in at the joints to create 40' long arches as erected in the photos. This is a nice unit that had brick on the bottom half of it. It had an a/c window unit in it. It comes with everything you see on the inside of it. Breaker panel. This is kind of a difficult listing to create. So please bare with me. Let me start by explaining the situation. I contracted a job cleaning up a private property located in Springdale/Zion Natl. Park Utah. Th ere were/are 6 buildings on said property( 2 homes. 4 shops) One of the 2 homes is/was a double wide trailer with a pitched roof on it. Long story short I decided before I demolished the houses that I would remove all of the sheet metal roofing. Being as it was beautiful 24 GA metal with only 5 penetrations through it( 12" stove pipe. 4" water heater flue pipe and 3. 2" sewer vents) Long story even longer. I got the roofing off and found these beautiful manufactured scissor trusses. The trusses are in excellent used condition. No water or bug damage. The mobile home is ... morea 24' x 60' and the trusses hang over 3' on each side. So they are approximately 30' wide. There are 32 trusses in all. The pitch is 4/12 on the top/roof side. I don't know the exact rake on the bottom/ceiling side. I'm guessing about a.5/12. Maybe a 1/12, the trusses are 6 to 8" above the center of the trailer. The trusses only touch/attach to the trailer on the exterior walls. Makes for easy. Clean removal, cut the 6 nails on each end with a sawzall, cut the blocking out with a sawzall or steel cutting skil saw. This way no nails will need pulling. There will be no woo d damage. No nails sticking out. Ready to fly onto your roof. There is alotta stuff to talk about. And I would rather do it over the phone or in person.
