Here are 3 different honeybee hive tools that have been used but are still in excellent condition: Basic 10" hive tool that is the perfect all around beekeeping hive tool-can be used for scraping and prying. It also has a nail-pulling slot. Frame lifter J-Hook hive tool. Approximately 10" long has 2 beveled cutting edges on the end of the tool, and the curved end helps to lift out frames. A very heavy duty hive tool that is about 15 1/2" long which is excellent for difficult jobs and removing stuck propolis.

I bought this stainless steel double sieve for filtering honey new and have used it only once or twice. It is very clean and basically like new. As you can see in the pictures. It is used to go under the extractor outlet and filters the honey through two screens-the upper one being coarse and the bottom round one being much finer screen. It is adjustable and will fit over a 5-gallon bucket or any container up to about 14" in diameter. It will filter out the majority of the wax particles. This is a very useful screen and can be cleaned in the dishwasher. I am selling this one because I have another one like it and don't need two since I have only a few beehives as a hobby.

Up for bid is a collection of beekeeping wooden ware and extra accessories. It has all the equipment necessary to operate a substantial backyard operation or supplement a larger operation. You can set up 5 hives with multiple supers as well as 2 nucs for breeding and hive splits. I assembled the boxes and frames using both glue and nails and used either high quality paint or spar varnish for durability. Boxes and frames are in good shape with the exception of one brood box that has some dry rot on a corner and one base with dry rot on its corner. See pics. They are easily fixable with some rock hard putty filler. Note that there are 10 supers. 7 of which have 10 frames each, one has 8 frames, and two have no frames. Most people use 10 per super, but I used 8 per super. Frames need some cleaning ... moreprior to introduction. Also included are extra foundation. Extra brood frames, queen excluders, and three cardboard nucs if you find yourself in need of them for swarms. I also include two box spacers that are used to create a space so you can apply mite treatments to the top of the hive. The thymol mite treatment is the only"chemical" I have ever used in the hives. No antibiotics, fungicides, etc. Only powdered sugar for hive beetles. Some frames are foundationless. Which I had great success with. I found the bees prefer to build their own comb instead of using the plastic foundation. I am reluctantly selling because I injured my back a while ago and so can no longer manage the hives properly. I am offering for your consideration this honey extracting equipment that was from the estate of a long ago beekeeper. They pieces are tin/galvanized metal mounted in wooden frame/platforms. The main extractor is about 29" wide and 32" high and is mounted on a platform that makes the height around 45" total. You get all the pieces you see. They were always stored inside. I didn't plug the motor in. They should be put in a museum or collection where young people can see and learn how honey was extracted. No Shipping.
