Vintage used Stewart 51-1 livestock animal shears. One broken tooth. I have not used these sheers but I talked to the guy who previously owned them. He said they work fine. He replaced the original cord with a orange extension cord. I turned them on and they are quiet and seems like they would work fine. I didn't clean them up, they still have old animal hair on them. I have been using this tank to holding cattle semen. It has been in steady use until 8/15/14 when I transferred everything to a larger tank. The manufacturer lists the tank as having an 80 day static hold time. And I've had it filled every 60 days with no problem, so it is still close to that 80 day listing.

A Vintage farm tool. A Ketchum Tattoo Outfit, Used for marking the ears of cattle, horses, hogs, and even poultry on the web of the wing. It shows ownership. Built by Ketchum Manufacturing from Luzerne NY and Ottawa Canada. 1931 patented date. Large set of pliers with 13 different letters that can be placed in the pliers in any order. The owner of these, a farmer from Coventry CT was given the letters WSZ tattoo letters in 1942 to mark his Angus Cattle. Post card included that was mailed to him by American Aberdeen Angus Breeders Assoc. that gave him these letters. Some ink in can also. May not be usuable. Box has directions for use.
