HEAVY DUTY LIVESTOCK CLIPPERS STEWART OSTER CLIPMASTER 510A WORKING MADE IN USA. The blade currently on the clippers is missing a few teeth. Clippers were plugged in and tested. Motor works, blades move as they're supposed to. I didn't test the clippers out on an animal so I don't know exactly how well they'll cut. A few of the extra blades seem very sharp. Ceva produced these syringes decades ago for the estrus synchronization of recipient cows for AI breeding. The syringe(7 1/4" long) delivered an ear implant. My family has been out of the cattle business for years. So I have no idea if these are even used any more; but if not, this item would make a great addition to a vet or cattleman's collection of esoteric medical instruments. HERE WE HAVE A VINTAGE 1940s ELASTRATOR ANIMAL CASTRATION DOCKING VETERINARY TOOL FOR CATTLE. GOATS, SHEEP, ETC. THIS DEVICE IS IN GOOD COSMETIC AND WORKING CONDITION WITH NORMAL VINTAGE WEAR. LAST THREE PICS ARE OF MY BUDDY KEIKO DEMONTRATING A MOCK CURLY Q TAIL DOCKING. HE DIDNT THINK IT WAS FUNNY EITHER. Elastration(a portmanteau of"elastic" and"castration" is a bloodless method of male castration and docking commonly used for livestock. Elastration is simply banding the body part( scrotum or tail) until it drops off. This method is favored for its simplicity. Low cost, and minimal training requirements. Elastration involves restraining the animal, without the need for anesthesia or sedation(unlike most other castration methods) in a position that provides access to ... morethe genitals. Special elastrator pliers are then used to place a tight latex(rubber) elastrator ring gently around the base of the scrotum. This cuts the blood supply to the scrotum and testicles will stop with in 10 to 14 days and will slough away shortly after. I bought this item in working order and have never used it. I could never get anyone to install it. When installed properly can administer medication through a watering system. Your looking at a used but in great condition. 4oz Veterinary Syringe with 2 pipes. The smaller pipe is 6" long and the larger pipe is 2-3/4" long. There is no lid for the box. This is for a Stone MFG& Supply Co. Standard 3/8" Tattoo Outfit. Cattle Livestock Ear Marking Tool. The outfit is product#2505(Without Ear Release) and includes Plier, Set of 3/8" Digits 0-9, and 3 oz. Jar of Ink. The tattoo outfit is used. The plier is in real good condition. The set of 3/8" digits 0-9 are complete but the number 6 has the bottom tab broken off as seen in the photo. The digit still seems to hold firmly in the pliers but may not hold during actual use so could need replacing. The ink is at least 3/4 full. The original box is included but is pretty dirty.
