This kit provides necessary parts to tune up the igniter on a John Deere type E hit & miss engine. Tension & torsion springs and new mica washers. If you have questions about repairing your igniter please ask. If the igniter shaft or housing is worn out this kit will not help much. Most igniters will function well after reconditioning with a kit similar to this. My shipping time is set for 5 business days, weekends and holidays don't count. This is for a John Deere “E” 6 hp oil pan. My John Deere pans are 16 gauge stainless steel, laser cut and very stiff (to hold the gasket against the block). They now have the 1018 steel oil cup spot welded on for when you are working the engine real hard and for limiting oil splash.
