Late 1 800's/Early 1900's Indu ction Goggles This genuine vintage induction goggles are from the late 1800's or early 1900's. Induction goggles were used by fraternal lodges to induct new members. We believe these were used by a local Modern Woodmen of America chapter. New members would wear the goggles while they were being sworn in. Then they would flip the visor open. These goggles are very cool although they do have a bit of wear- paint is flaking off caps. Head strap is missing. Mechanism to flip open and close goggles works wonderfully and goggles stay open as they should. Goggles are lined with velvet. This is a great pair of Willson bakelite. Welder's goggles in its original box. The nose guard and elastic straps are still attached and in good condition. The model number is CW50, and was made in the 1960's. There are vents on the sides of each lens, and there is a metal tool included, with directions on the inside of the box as to how to use the tool to change the lens. Overall, these goggles are in excellent shape for their age and would make a great pair of motorcycle glasses or a collectible for those of you who collect welder memorabilia. Rare CW60 orange Willson Bakelite goggles with black lens rings. The elastic straps for the head are attached and in good condition and have both clips. The goggles are vented. The nose bridge elastic can be adjusted with a screw fastener that works smoothly. There is a separate nose guard piece. But I'm not sure how it attaches. It may be held in place by the bridge screw, but I'd rather not monkey with it. There are 2 gold and 2 clear lenses. Which are held in place by the black screw-on rings that permit easy changing of lenses. The lenses are separated by a gasket. These goggles are clean and shiny. The lenses clear and the box in very good condition.

There is a beaded chain encased in a tubular plastic that can be adjusted. Both lens are scratched and scuffed but in bright sunlight your vision is super clear- like hunting glasses. The lens are removeable by twisting the screw-on outer cap- so the lens could easily be replaced with clear or tinted lens. The head straps have old fashion metal adjustment slides but the straps themselves are in rough shape and will need to be replaced with some sort of ribbon or other material to make them functional. Here's an old pair of vintage bakelite welding goggles that are a little rough but may have some possibilities for other uses. Or at least as a vintage display item. Beings how they're used welding goggles they do have a few of the blems that go with that use, including splatter on the tinted glass lenses and torn head straps. Photos 3& 4 show a nice'lightning strike' design on the outer edges, although they also show a difference in the surface color from side to side that may be permanent- I didn't try any type of cleaner on the goggles. Photo 9 shows that one side of the frames has a clear& tinted lens together with a gasket, while the other side is 1 thick tinted lens. If a nice pair of the right thickness clear lenses could be obtained, these might make nice ... morevintage aviator, motorcycle, or Model T speedster goggles. These are a nice design with a contoured fit and air vents by the eyes(photo 6) They also have an eye width adjustment with a simple'ball chain' snap in set-up(photo 7) The threaded lens holders are in good shape, although 1 has a couple of welding berry burns on it. Photo 10 shows what they look like without the tinted lenses. The goggles are being sold as is, with several possibilities for their use.

Original vintage Wilson motorcycle. Welding safety goggles. They are made of clear flexible plastic for a great look. The googles flex in the middle for a comfortable fit. These are large steampunk goggles measuring 2 inches in diameter at the lens. They have clear glass lenses and you will also recieve a pair of dark lenses for the goggles. You simply unscrew the black lens cap to change lenses. They are in nice condition and not broken. They show some wear to the plastic frames and metal vents as can be expected of vintage goggles. They need a good cleaning but I didn't want to hurt the leather on the glasses. Leather has some cracks but no tears. Still pretty plyable. Lenses have no chips and no cracks. No breaks that I can find in the frames. Comes with metal protective goggles case. It has wear and rusting to the case but overall is in good condition. Very nice set and can be worn. Found these old goggles/glasses made by Wilson. Wilson is engraved in the metal piece across the top bridge. Wilson. Is one of America's superlative eyewear manufacturers. Very old 1930-1946 Steam punk- Aviator glasses Ear pieces are adjustable. Greenish color glass and the side mesh is some type of metal. There are marking on each glass it looks like letters"WrCH" I don't know if that is the initials of the person who owed the glasses or if it has some meaning. Minor wear throughout. Glass has very minor scuffs, but these are very clean. A little rust is present on some area. The glasses are old and used so expect some imperfection. Here up for auction is a pair of vintage welding goggles that are in absolutely in excellent condition. The leather is brown but came out in the pictures black, it is soft and supple with no cracking, also the lenses are in mint condition with not a blemish or scratch also the frames show no signs of wear. The lenses are light enough to be used as sunglasses and are super cool looking, they fit snug to your face and the leather guards are not irritating or bothersome. the lenses measure 1 7/8" and are marked with an A over an O and an XD next to that, I believe the AO stands for American Optical? The arms are marked 6 3/4" and the frames are 5 1/2" across from arm to arm. Vintage 1950's Steampunk Welding Goggles Awesome vintage(c.1950's) Norton Type B ~ Cran. RI, USA" reddish brown welding goggles with clear& green lenses. I think the body of the goggles is bakelite? One clear lens has cracks however you can find replacement lenses on ebay. OR if you prefer. The clear lenses are thin so you can simply remove the clear lenses and throw them out. The screw-on lens caps fit snugly without the clear lenses. I have other vintage eyeglasses from the same estate also listed. Please note: item came from a smoker's estate if you have allergies. This is a cool pair of American Optics green glass welding glass from the 1930's. They have great leather side shields. The glass has some weld beebees on it. Both sides of the glass have spots. The leather is in pretty good shape. One robot is broken, one strap that holds the earpiece also us torn. Please see the pictures for other condition. Thanks for looking! Posted with
