Here is a really nice Transfer Switch that was recently purchased from a government auction. I understand it was used to automatically switch over part of a city power to a generator when the regular power system failed. I talked with a guy who worked on the electrical system for the city and he told me it was rarely used and practically like new. It was only taken out because they changed the system. As I had to splice the cord to get the length i needed. Of course the box store I bought it at will not take back electricals. Very nice ASCO 7000 Series ATS. Perfect for residential use. This switch has been tested and serviced by an EPG technician and is 100% ready to go. It shows minor blemishes from being installed/unistalled however there is only 1 small dent on the top of the door. This switch would cost over $3000 new.
