This is an Automatic transfer switch that works with generators that have a two wire remote start feature. This is a 225A 240V 60HZ unit. This unit will monitor your incoming power and automatically start your generator and switch over to generator power if your main utility goes down. When the main utility power comes back on it will switch over to the main utility and then turn off your generator for you. This unit also has an automatic generator exerciser that will automatically start your generator for a test period set by you to make sure that the generator is working properly. This unit was working fine and was replaced for a larger capacity transfer switch.

This is a transfer switch that was used to power a temporary load. It has 72 days of use(1628 hours) so it is barely used. THAT JUST MEANS IT WAS ON FOR 72 DAYS. IT HAS 27 TRANSFERS ON IT AND 90% OF THOSE WERE WHEN IT WAS BEING TESTED) The switch is set up for 120V Single Phase use right now. I will set it to 3 phase if you desire. Basically when I send it to you– it can be mounted in an electrical cabinet. Hook a 120V hot to phase A, the neutral to phase C and turn it on. It will work right out of the box. I will even send a list of available settings that I can put into the unit if you would like and I will program the unit and test it for you. You can make it a 120V 3 phase also if you would like. It does have wear on it. This was something my husband had. It is so heavy I cannot lift it. We never used it. I read the information off the plug that I listed. I am listing it as 30 foot. The switch was working when it was removed from service. But it failed to operate one time and it was decided to replace it. Once it was replaced we found a loose bolt in the mech. and suspected that was the problem, but didn't want to take a chance on it again so I am selling it. The housing is not included only the guts.

I bought this Emergen Manual Transfer Switch(model 6-5001) for my home back in 2010 and installed it all EXCEPT for the final wiring to the breaker box. I started final installation yesterday and realized I needed the 30 amp version. The switch has had absolutely ZERO electricity run through it the whole time I've had it. So it's essentially BRAND NEW. NOne of the wires have been cut, but were bound up with red electrical tape waiting for installation. I bought it for $271 but I'm letting it go for a lot less since it's a few years old and I can't return it. This generator manual transfer switch is made by UBI of Tacoma. WA. It wires into the electrical distribution panel for your house office shop or small business to use your generator as backup power when the power is out. It has the capability to run up to 6 separate circuits with a combined load of 20 amps. It is ETL listed and conforms to UL standard 1008. It has been used only one or two times at a previous residence of my parents. They brought it with them when they moved but never re-installed it. Your generator will need a 4-prong 220v plug to be compatible. There is some overspray from the drywall installers after this was installed but does not affect its operation.
