FROM THE SELLER: I personally. Would use buy this greenhouse container and use it as is to try to grow plants in the rear inside of the container. I would try to grow veggies and flowers as an experiment. When I went inside the very far rear of this greenhouse, it was exceptionally warm back there compared to the real temperature outside about 50 degrees and sustained 25 to 35 mile per hour wind gust=cold. I had to take the heavy jacket off and soon found myself wanting to walk around in there with just a t-shirt. It was warm. Attach one to the front and the back of a container and you can move the container like it was on a dolly(with the help of something to pull it) Please note. It is set up for 8' containers. We are looking to sell one of the 40' refrigerated storage units that we have here in our facility in Lakewood. California. This Mitsubishi Heavy Industries container was built according to shipping standards, and was purchased from a local company that specializes in moving and servicing these containers. This container can be used for safe and secure on-site storage, overland transportation, or can be customized into any number of practical uses. I have seen containers like this used at restaurants during the peak holiday season(for stocking up on holiday dinner storage) and by many types of businesses for either refrigerated or non-refrigerated storage. We have used it for refrigerated storage inside our warehouse for about 10 years. And although it still runs, it is an older model ... moreand we haven't been doing the same volume of business as before, so we have been using it more for basic storage in the last year or so. The door handles have holes that make it easy to padlock shut if you plan to use it for outside storage needs. This unit is being sold as is. And you are welcomed to make an appointment to come check it out before purchase, or ask for a picture of any part of the unit that you want to see in closer detail. You will see in the picture that we painted a black square on the left door- it's actually a chalkboard surface that we used to mark on. Because it is a refrigerated container, the inside walls and doors are insulated, so it actually does a good job keeping our dry goods cool when not in operation. There is some cosmetic damage(bent sheet metal) to the lower inner corner of both doors, which we have not bothered to repair since it has not impacted functionality.
