This is a"CellJack CJ-20" remote broadcast cell phone interface from Conex Electro-Systems. I believe this device is designed to allow remote broadcasters to connect to their studios by means of a cell phone. This was retrieved from a radio station that had used it for that purpose. But didn’t need it anymore. Sure, you can just call in to your station from your cell and they can put you on the air, but this allows you to use a good quality broadcast mic and to monitor by means of headphone. I am not sure. But I think this was one of Conex’s earlier models, which has now been replaced by a new model called the“FlipJack. But I think they do the same thing. You can learn more about the current model at the Conex Electro-Systems website, or at broadcast suppliers, like BSW. The new ... moremodel sells for $289. So here’s you change to get the older model, which does most of the same things, for cheap! This little box is about 4” long. 2” deep and 1.25” high. The front panel controls allow you to set the level going to the studio, and adjust the level of what you hear coming back. And there is a switch that allows you to toggle between the broadcast and the handset. I have never actually used this thing. So I can’t verify how it works. All I know is that the guy who gave it to me said it worked, and that his station just didn’t need it anymore. It looks like new… no damage or scratches. I don’t have any of the literature that came with it, but that is probably available online. If there ware any cables or other accessories with it, I don't have them. This is a used Hardigg all plastic Equipment shipping case with outside dimensions of 45” high x 26.5” wide x 40” deep. The inside dimensions are 42.375” high x 24” wide x 27” deep and the doors are 5” deep and have gasket seals. Has cables to lock two of the latches. One of the boards has a removable panel on it. The exterior has scratches and cuts in the plastic from shipping and mounting hole for caster wheels and other components.
