Set of 8 Vintage Brass File Cabinet Drawer Label Holders I’m still listing some items from last week’s estate sale and auction. And I had wonderful luck at this weekend’s flea market- some really really unique items, you don’t want to miss! Here is a fabulous set of 8. Matching, old vintage(if not antique) brass file cabinet drawer label holders. Each one measures 3 1/2" widest by 1 5/8" tallest(including the screw tabs) and the inside opening for the label is 2 1/2" by 1" tall. There are screw hole tabs on three sides- the 4th side being where the label slips in. They are in excellent solid and sturdy condition with an age darkened patina- I have not cleaned these in any way. There's some ripples on the edges and by the screw tabs on some that are minor- see photo ... more5, and more than likely from when they were removed from the cabinet. They are light, and the metal can be bent, if I tried. There's also some scratching on the metal- more around where the screws were than anywhere- see photo 7- it's much harder to see to the eye than it is with my close up. They will attach well for you. It's a nice original old set for your cabinet! Please ask if you have any questions. Or feel free to inform me if you have any information about one of my listings. Description For sale is are a total of 52 Stackbin metal parts bin drawers. These are individual drawers that each have their own frame to slide in to. Up for auction is this really nice vintage 9 drawer Globe Wernicke library card catalog cabinet with dovetail construction drawers and a solid oak dovetailed construction frame cabinet.It has a brass label tag on the back see photo no. 7 which is the only part that is not solid wood. But a plywood veneer. There is some damage to the bottom see photo no. 6, 8, 9 approx. 3/8' or less up across the bottom.There is a split in the cabinet photo no. 3. The back has some scratches and some paint scratches also see photo no. 6. It looks like the paper on the bottom( last pic) could be it's original label. If you're looking for unique vintage lockers you've come to the right place. These lockers are very unique to what is mostly available for sale. There are unique in design and size. The vented style and arrangement of the units is not a common find. The pictures shows one unit comprised of 19 individual locker units(17 small. 2 large) These unfortunate cannot be taken apart and are a heavy- probably in the 250-300 pound range. They measure approximately 5' wide by 5' tall make the small locker units roughly 12"x12" As mentioned in the condition description, they have been painted over at least 2 times. Based on the patent date on the latches they are most likely from the late 60s.early 70s at latest. This is a 10 drawer industrial metal parts cabinet. Green color. 7 of the drawers have a unique insert that are formed sheet metal. Some surface rust on inserts. The other 3 are just open. This is approx. 15" wide. 18" deep, and 78" tall. Has some dings in it and does need to be cleaned. I think they put duct tape around the inside edges to keep dust out.
