Sewing head revolves 360 degrees to enable the operator to sew in any direction without stopping. This is the newer version of the old Singer 29-4 and 29K series. The main difference is the design of the presser foot tension assembly and a removable bobbin carrier/drive assembly. It also has a lock stud to maintain a constant sewing direction if the 360 degree feature isn't desired. The interior front leg had a small hairline crack which was repaired with JB weld.
