This is a great estate find. It is far from ready for use. But it looks like it still works. There are two needles that work in time with each other, I think that means cross stitch, but I am probably wrong about that. It is a direct drive machine and does not require a belt which gives it full industrial strength when sewing. It is a very strong machine. A sewing test was made on 8 layers of a napped upholstery fabric and 6 layers of a heavy canvas. It is a straight stitch machine, 6 to 30 stitches per inch with reverse. It has been oiled and lubed. This is a 1904 Singer Sewing Machine Model 27. It was professional refinished probably between 1930- 1940 when the'wrinkle or godzilla' finish was used by Singer. It was originally a treadle machine but a motor has been added and the bobbin winder moved next to the hand wheel. It sews like a dream. I tested the sewing strength on 4 layers of a very heavy canvas. It has been oiled and cleaned and is ready to sew. It will include the case pictured. A new foot controller and 2 bobbins. You are bidding on an antique Cornely K embroidery machine. The Cornely K does two thread cording. Chainstitch and moss(drop stitch) embroidery. This machine is in non working condition but could be restored. The handle turns but it requires effort. The thumb screw that holds the needle bar has been broken off and a portion of the screw is stuck in the hole(note close up of this section) The frame is in good shape other than the cylindrical part between the main portion of the frame and the handwheel. Up for grabs is a Puritan Stich machine used for sewing leather or thick material. This machine is very special and is a 36 inch Original Style machine from guessing the 1950s or so It came out of a helicopter factory in LA and was in production making seats. I have a motor and brackets for it but took it off. The machine is missing a bunch of parts that can be still bought at Puritan. If you have ever used one of these machines you will realize its one of the most amazing sewing machines, the high posts are very crazy to watch because you can turn on and off the walking feature on the 36 inch lower post, plus the wax pot on top to really lock the stich and waterproof it. The condition of the machine is very good but like I listed it, is missing some parts needed to get it back running. Here is a Merrow MG-3U industrial sewing machine for edging patches. This was used by a company I worked for in the late 80's and early 90's. It was working at that time. But has not been used since. It turns smoothly, without any binds, but I do not have the abilbity to test it. I am not sure of the age of the machine. When the business closed I kept this thinking I might possibly use it. JUKI MODEL LU-563 HEAVY DUTY INDUSTRIAL WALKING FOOT SEWING MACHINE This auction is for a used Juki model LU-563 heavy duty/industrial walking foot sewing machine as you see pictured with all items included that are pictured. I don't sew at all but I was told this is in good working condition. The only problem that I see that I want to point out is the slide plate at the top of the machine is missing a screw(at least I think its missing a screw) It has the metal under tray and the foot part as well form the table that it was attached to. I can crank it by hand and it goes up and down with no problems- nice and smooth! I will also have the Chandler clutch motor that was with this machine also on Ebay in a different listing.
